I know nothing about it and didn't read or listen to the podcast on the scandal. Are you talking about an influx of catfishing profiles on fab because of that GAA story?
I think what surprises me most about online engagement, is how people can have full on relationships with people they've never actually met. |

I think it's 2 lads who are friends on a podcast. One of them was chatting to a girl online and meant to meet. Over and over things were going wrong; she was at the shop when he called etc. But the housemate turned out to be her (and a fan of him.. I think?) and he called her out on it but when he delved into it he found that the original girl and 7 or 8 of her friends were all fake. this page had tons of real people following her, well known local people like. He found out that the person took a group of friends story or photos in England and that's how she was able to fake being other people. But apparently she's catfishes with that account for years or hundreds of people just a mad scale |

Anything for attention tbh , are they the 1st to be catfished ? No ..will they be the last ? No .. wayyyyy more important things to be concerned about than that tbh , like l said attention seekers ..they think they're celebrities..in their own lunchbox maybe . |

Have a listen to the podcasts, they were trying to raise awareness of it. The latest one is mental involved some outrageous allegations against people that could have destroyed lives, that were all lies made up against people this catfish had never even met. Fair enough you don't like the 2 lads but they are trying to genuinely help people out with it. |

No I misunderstood the opening post and thought the OP meant more people were admitting to be catfishes by her
fabswingers was mentioned by the 2johnnies on another podcast and they also had the couple of fabswingers doing sex positions on a bed on stage at 3Arena in front of 12000 people
