Many people don't feel shame around naughty pics with faces and don't mind having them on their profile. Their kids (if they have them) won't have access to fab. Other parents or work colleagues on fab have nothing to complain about as they are also on fab. |

I've seen a few posts on threads in the Lounge from couples with facepics saying that anyone who doesn't show their face in their profile has something to hide and they wouldn't trust them.
A few said that we were all adults here and should be loud and proud to be swingers and to hell with the prudes.
Highly likely those people aren't going to be very discreet in regard to other people's privacy. |

Being discreet is a must for me. I would never show my face on here or would i expect others too. When you see the status, No face pic no reply. I tried that facial recognition software last year and my face pics that I sent to someone back in 2018 to someone from Fab was there on various porn s&ites. It wasn't particularly racy it's me sitting up in bed. But that search also shows exactly where else my face pops up in the Internet along with my name etc . That software is so good it picked me out in a crowd at Pride event parade with many people in the picture. |

We do have one rule in this regard. If sending pics on here (which only happens when a meet is on the cards) then we only show vanilla facepics. Also explicit pics won't include faces. That way if they ever did get shared abouts then it's no big deal. There are vanilla pics of me already on the internet. It's no big issue for me. The way AI is going anyone can be manipulated to appear in fake but realistic explicit poses anyway. |

I’ve seen lots of new accounts looking for face pics in first message when they themselves have no verification and pics look questionable , and then there is often reports in the news of organised gangs using “romance scams”!! That’s how these things happen….
That’s obviously the high end of the spectrum!

I’ve seen lots of new accounts looking for face pics in first message when they themselves have no verification and pics look questionable , and then there is often reports in the news of organised gangs using “romance scams”!! That’s how these things happen….

I had the same issue people had setup profiles on tinder and other various sites with pics i put on my snap story. Id be very intrested in that software. Drop me a message when you get a chance. Thanks |

Yeah… i think the English are defo more open about showing their faces.. and as time goes on we seem to be becoming more liberal too.. people are getting braver… but yeah.. those pics will pop up in more places than here unfortunately |

I have face pics on my profile. My friends and family know I'm on the site... I do not agree that just because I have my face present that I am disrespectful to anyone's privacy or discretion.. I have met lots of people and have been very discreet when they ask me to be and I have even on occasion ask people to be discreet as to protect us both.. |

I've never shown a face pic on here, and I don't ask for one either. Some people have asked me for a face pic as a condition of meeting. If it's a deal-breaker, I won't meet them. I'm on Libertic the French site, and almost 100% show face pics. Ireland is still too conservative, small minded and gossipy. I like my privacy, and guarantee it to people I meet here. |

Yea have noticed its happening more in ireland it was common in uk for a nice while. I think it’s each to there own and all that but once its posted to the web it can end up anywhere and could be seen by potential future partners work colleagues kids etc . |
