Firstly, WHY is it so hard for men to get a meet on this site? Are all the women just fake???

Is it possible to block people with no profile pics to view my profile?
Also, I'm sure I have my filters set so people have to have public pics to message me but they're still getting through. And we haven't messaged previously. Is there a way around this?

Yes, there is an option to block messages from profiles without any public pics (At least I think there is?🤔). Just double check your filters..
As for your first question...that remains a mystery 🤷♂️😜 |

Click account..... message filters...... then scroll down to the last 4 on the list......to do with public pics, veri status etc etc.
Still the odd one gets through though, as you mentioned 🤦

I don’t see any way to block them. I have all the filters up and get messages with no profile pics and friends only pics
I just block and delete but it’s a pain. Also no one reads bios so no point in having them either.
I have on mine, clearly stating not meeting and all I get is wanna meet. I don’t take fab seriously and use it when I’m bored,, but it’s a joke of a place. Even if I wanted a meet I wouldn’t accept one from a message, I’d wait to meet someone at an event/party as I’ve no interest in all the vetting worry that involves meeting someone solely online. Verifications also mean nothing to me, so many are fake. |

Open to correction, as always, but I understand "message filters" only prevent the selected group from messaging you or replying directly to your posts on the forums and does not prevent anyone from viewing your profile.
The only way you can stop someone from looking at your profile is to block them specifically.

Luckily I said I was open to correction.
Message filters may not prevent you from replying privately to posts on the forums but being block certainly does.
Posting a "reply and quote " to the post of someone who has you blocked leaves you open to being reported for attempting to get around being blocked and could lead to you receiving a forum ban.

I have it so that people with no profile pics can’t contact me; the odd one gets through. I wonder if they put one up temporarily then delete it straight away? I mean, just take a picture of a plant in that case but we’re not dealing with the sharpest crayons here… |

Only if it's a direct attempt to circumvent the block, to further aggravate, etc. A normal on-topic forum interaction with someone who has blocked you should not ordinarily result in a forum ban.
OP, the filters are message filters only - you can't stop a whole subset of members from viewing your profile. The only way is to block each person individually.
The message filter for public photos includes the profile picture but as RB said already it's easy to bypass and that probably explains why you occasionally get messages from profiles without public photos.
I rarely, if ever, look at who has viewed my profile as it's kinda irrelevant so I stay in blissful ignorance 😊 |

I remember there was a woman on here that was giving out that people she had blocked were replying to her in threads. A mod chimed in to say that was perfectly fine as long as the person wasn't trying to use the forum to circumvent the block and the reply was relevant to the thread. |

And as RB said above, we generally have no idea whether a person has another blocked or not so I would think circumventing filters isn't in most people's minds.. |

We have that filter too and we get blank profile pics all the time. Maybe it doesn't work at all?
While we are here, would it kill them to upload a pic of a sunset or a beach or anything. If there's such minimum effort put into this it's not a good sign overall. It's lazy. |

The filter is just "no public photos". Those with no profile picture can still message if they have other public photos.
