I thought the clicking I had become aware of on fab might just be my old arthritic bones cracking and creaking. But it could well be the sound of insular, insecure people tut-tutting because outsiders are attempting to join their tight knit groups. Their behaviour is possibly prompted by their fear of being out shone and therefore outfabbed.
The same insecurities may well be present throughout the swing lifestyle where the element of comparison and competition are likely to be present.
But I want to assure any of those involved in fab related cliques that I totally and absolutely acknowledge their right to interact with whoever they feel comfortable in engaging with.
We all eventually find our own tribe and hopefully enjoy walking with them on our fab journey.

Unfortunatrly I don't have the smarts to know how to post on threads after they have passed 175....
If those that do want to let the rest of us into their little secret we would be most grateful.
Or do you just need to click your fingers in a certain way to get access to closed threads.
Asking for lots of friends.....

I feel I'm missing something here but in regard to posting after the 175 it has something to do with keeping a browser page open for a specific thread.
Not something I've ever done or been inclined to do but then again I'm not that insecure to worry about it. |

Just on a side note, with 100% honesty, I can say that I wasn’t told how to post on a thread after it was closed, nor have I told anybody else how to do it, just in case anyone thinks there’s some sort of inner circle of people who know how to do it.
Honesty I just thought it was a bit of a laugh occasionally in a shitty auld world sometimes……
I didn’t realise it gave such an insight into me, good to know….
I now realise how my posting on a thread after it’s closed may be interpret differently by people so I will of course continue to do it so the analysis may continue, please PM me your findings, therapy is expensive and I need all the help I can get…..
It’s just a bit of a laugh, if it bothers people that much, well, I’ll probably still do it…….   |
