A proper honest to god pure edging session isn't something I've ever experienced and is one of the few things left on my bucket list.

This. Edging is all about reading the body language of your partner. It's less about what sex acts you're doing and more about knowing the times you need to slow or stop. This is far easier with someone who you know well and with whom you have good communication. Good edging is when the recieving partner is giving the signs needed to know when the build up is there, and they are getting close. Some receivers won't clearly differentiate in the body language between different stages in buildup to orgasm and so they will make edging difficult. Good sex in general is about giving and taking feedback and this is never more true than in a good edging session. |
