"What type of coffee person are you? Happy with instant? Petrol station coffee or must you have the best? Do you use the machine or a mocha pot?"
I don't drink coffee at home, I'm a tea person!! However, when I'm at a one on one meet or an organised coffee social, my go to drink is a cappuccino!! I love coffee cake!! 🍰 |

At work it's instant coffee Nescafe Gold blend. They did get in a coffee machine but it's just awful. At home it's also instant either Kenco or LO'R.
Always wanted a coffee machine but not sure if I could be bothered with the hassle. Hot water, milk in first stir simple.
If I'm out though I like a fancy coffee usually a Latte Caramel/Vanilla 😋 |

I think I'd be 10kg heavier if I had better access to coffee cake |

Use a press at home, I like good quality coffee from independent coffee shops/cafes.
If I have to use a shop machine I'll try and at least find a frank and honest machine.
Some of the better quality instants aren't as bad as what used to be available |

The last point is quite true but at their prices, other coffee is a good option |

I have a moka pot, a french press an aeropress and a Nespresso machine
Didn't intend to have a collection but have been trying different things over the years.
I have some decent instant in the press too.
On the road I'll drink whatever coffee is available and if I'm in town I know where the good coffee is and I'll go there.
Flat white with oat milk thanks! |

"I drink most coffee... and to be totally honest, and most people find it weird, I just much prefer the taste of powder/instant coffee."
Nope not me I'm the same 90% of my coffee drinking is the instant stuff |

Weird? Maybe a little but honestly it's a lot less of a mess and hassle. If I could enjoy it, I'd drink the same. |

I'm not particularly fussy but I don't like instant coffee. The stuff from the petrol stations is mostly fine.
I've just had a flashback to the flavour of Irel coffee from back in the day. I haven't tasted it in about 40 years and now I want to try some again. |

Mostly garage coffee and Applegreen my favorite but wish they sold a bigger size as their large is too small
I use the app and get my 10th coffee free every week so I'm spending at least €35 a week on takeaway coffee
Back in the 80's you could bring a mug into a petrol station and they'd boil the kettle for you and make you an instant coffee for a fee |

That's probably part of the reason why so many of those petrol stations went bust. |

I remember working with crews and having to hold the mug as the driver drove for home
Had to hand it to him without spilling it on him or me
I also had a conversation in a small garage with the owner
I remember saying to him
" I don't understand why anyone would drink coffee while driving " |

I hate to pay for a coffee in a coffee shop, it possibly cost 30cent maximum with the farmer getting 1cent from that even if its fair trade ...... Funny enough I'll look at the prices in the supermarket yet get plenty of coffees for the price of an coffee shop one, it's soooooooooooo over priced and can be real "wankerish"... |

Naas which is South West of Dublin |
Beyond Biscuits Irish Coffees, I’m very easy going with coffee, will drink just about anything, doesn’t bother me, I appreciate there are many different types to suit different tastes, but to me it’s coffee.
I will microwave my cup of coffee if I haven’t finished it and if goes cold, and not know the difference, or not enough of a difference to bother me…….🤷♂️
Instant is fine for me at home, less mess….. |

Black as my heart
In comfort or cold
I still need art
So you can stick
Your Nescafé slop
Where the sun
Never will shine
And leave me enjoy
A dark coffee time!

I actually think it’s Nescafé I have at the moment….
I’m offended……..🧐 |

Jameson is basically a mixer for hot water, lemon and clove's or coffee and cream.

I love a BBC if I'm honest... no you filthy deviants, I mean a Big Black Coffee
I have a bean to cup machine at home but not a fan of coffee shops in Ireland because they serve the coffee too hot to drink, brewing an espresso and topping it up with boiling water |

There are different reasons for drinking a hot brew. Mostly in Ireland, the primary reason is to warm your hands and heart up, so let boil to hell. For this purpose it's served in as big a mug as possible!
Whereas in Spain etc it's d*unk for the kick on a hot day or too get you going after a big meal and there's no need to warm the hands up. It's served in a tiny cup for this purpose.
I could be wrong of course..🤔 |

Bean to cup at home and the dials are both towards the right.
Love Lavazza Crema e Aroma and Gran Riserva. Starbucks Sumatra also excellent.
Hate buying coffee out but needs must I avoid Costa Ripoff and SVALU like the plague, along with Insomnia.
Prefer McD in a pinch.
Where did Coffee Society in Ranelag and Liffey St go? They were a fabulous coffee house and their Mocha was to die for.
They used to get suspicious when I used to buy their beans in kilo bags but it was so good! |

At home I'll only drink Douwe Egberts. I sold their products back in the 80s and haven't found anything to compare since.
On the road I wouldn't drink Starbucks or Costa if you paid me as it's just coloured water and don't get me started on the piss poor Frank and Honest.
McDonald's use a higher quality bean than any of the coffee franchises so it will either be one of theirs or Bro coffee.
I'm not a coffee snob at all and rarely drink more than one cup a day so I would never invest in a machine.
I only ever drink a black Anericano. |

Tea most of the time.
But I’ll have a latte if it’s morning and a cappuccino if it’s afternoon. No coffee after 4pm though thanks not I’ll have a sleepless night (the bad kind). |
