We as a couple have decided 2025 is gonna be full of fun and frolics haha . We love attending party's and have had fun at every party we've been to so far thankfully but a lot of the party's we'd like to attend this year fall on days we're unavailable due to work and the likes . But as eager beavers we're not gonna let this stop us so we will make things work for us on the days we are available haha. This is were yous come in we're looking for tips on arranging our own little party's for example hotel and air b+b suggestions and if anyone would be interested, stuff like that . Feel free to share your party dos and donts xxx |

Gotta say for starters I had to stop myself from laughing too much at reading ‘Not Batman’! That’s the funniest I’ve seen in a while. I needed that. Not sure if my input is even worth two cents but spare a thought for those (possibly me, included) that presently can’t meet weekends, yet, can meet weekdays for daytime fun. Can and would expect to share costs. Likes group fun. Expects absolutely no alcohol and no illegal substances at all meets. Consent, consent, consent. Ideally a coffee meet to ensure they’d fit what you’re looking for and discretion expected. Also a fwb scenario is optimal especially after getting all that hard work out of the way. |

Can't give any advice from experience, but if it was me.
Maybe for your first few, keep it small (like other 4couples) and these are couples known to you from other parties. Also a hotel would be best for the first few in case of no shows - they pay for their own rooms so you aren't out of pocket.
Don't add in single men or women until you had a few successful couples parties and the singles should also be known to you.
When you are happy enough with how the parties are going, air BnB a house for a few days?
That's my 5cent anyway.
Hope your parties work out! |

Couldn't you organise a party for X date and make it a qualifier that all willing applicants must be available for a pre-party coffee meet one week in advance between the hours of say 2-6pm.
Only the attendees of coffee meet get the details of the party.
Then you know you have people who at least show up |

Hey OP it isn’t as easy as it looks to hold a party in an Airbnb etc as u usually foot the costs upfront and the deposit for damages and then with last minute drop outs etc which always happen it can be costly. Well that is if you are keen on getting a great vibe, mixed dynamic, something for everyone, fun night. You can always just go for a numbers game, set ur mix of singles and couples and a blanket invite and want to cover costs and make extra money. I have hosted maybe 15 parties, some small, some black tie mansion house and some at my previous home. A mixture of people I knew and others I had never met but always always ask around from other hosts and people u would trust. It was about a great vibe of people for me and always cost me money to create the night. Despite striving for drama free spaces some dramas did crop up so at my parties I never played. I was just hostess with the mostess. Good luck and enjoy it is great. |

I think you’ll be great at it and I’m always available via DM if you want any feedback on anything specific
You know at least 2 games that work well though the last one was Kels favourite one 😉so… 😈
Airbnb probably best but you need to check on parking nearby and cameras outside the property. Which can be tricky. Make them all pay via Revolut before the cancellation limit is reached.
We can chat when we meet next if you want… then again… we probably won’t give you the time to speak 😈😈😈 |

No 3 Keep it small enough
No 4 set out your dos and don't.

I would go a small Airbnb. That way you can designate a playroom .
Strip the bed ,waterproof sheet then a cheap sheet on top that you bring home a wash and keep for the next party . Designated playrooms give a more relaxed feel to a party. Leave the house as you got it tidy up put out rubbish .
You don't want a bad guest review on Airbnb. |
