2025 anything daunting to tackle?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I kinda dreaded/not dreaded 2025 rolling around.
Its going to be an interesting year for me as I have quite a few fairly significant personal life stuff to deal with. 3 things, 2 in particular have been years pending & will happen this year. Both are biggies & are filling me with aprehension.
Does anyone else have significant things that need addressing in 2025? How do you feel about it/them? |

Yeah ive a fairly big challenge set for myself. Now ive plenty of time to prepare but with work and other issues getting time to train proper and get recovery is going to be a challenge. Big clean up of diet is required too but looking forward to it |

Is your goal realistic?? Because setting it too high is not going to work & you are just setting yourself up for failure & thats demoralising 😒 |

I think there are four or five incredibly major personal events coming up in 2025 for me. Work, family, and living things. Fairly scary but hope to be in a fantastic place when 2026 starts.

"I'm 60 in February and I have to decide whether to retire from my main job or not. "
If you can I’d say go for it, but only if you are ready for it. I was 60 last year still enjoy the job and don’t feel ready to go.
Friends advice from while ago is to have something to do that you enjoy, when he retired he was so busy he didn’t know how he managed work lol |

Cut out the travelling if ya can, early starts and late finishes are a disaster"
No that's gone ages
I'm self employed and pay others to do it
The midnight finishes are just a hobby job
To be honest my main job is practically stress free and so handy but doing it 40 yrs at this stage

Nothing too daunting but I highly suspect that I'm going to have to deal with losing a parent this coming year also since turning 50 in Nov I have decided to start travelling more going on my first solo trip abroad in march also looking into cold water swimming after having done it on my 50th birthday |
