The little reading I've done into this says that the myth comes from the 'buck' stereotype that caricatured Black men as hypersexual and animalistic, with an exaggerated focus on their genitalia. It emerged during sl*very and persisted in post-sl*very America, reinforcing the myth. |

You're right, I think on average it's 0.25cms bigger. There's also a wider range of sizes too |
