It's not a deal breaker but can anyone suggest hotels in dublin or surrounds that don't require key cards to get into the lifts?

Seem to be a dying breed...

Ha.... have to have a key to get to the stairs as well usually (though I've seen some that didn't)

What difference does it make unless it's a big group play

Apart from that I don't see an issue except most hotels seem to have security on the front door

If you have a room and meet one, two or even 3 people in the bar and all walk to the lift using both room keys

No one notices a thing

If you look like you belong in a place it usually works

No one notices a thing

If you look like you belong in a place it usually works "

Cause sometimes it’s nice to have someone arrive to your hotel door without having to put on clothes that are appropriate in a public space
