Think last thread was deleted

But I was amazed about the amount of people that backed him without being part of the jury and hearing all the evidence

Hopefully him and the rest of his scummy family are not treated like royalty anymore by the press in this country

I'd imagine he'll issue a statement appealing the verdict

I haven't been taking too much notice of the details around this and have no opinion on his guilt or innocence but he's a proper obnoxious bollix and the sooner this country stops talking about such morally corrupt and heinous individuals the better imo. While I'm at it the Monk can fuck right off as well. Rant over.

He has been founding guilty but justice was far from served - a women's life ruined - the DPP should be ashamed of themselves. Let's hope he goes on a bender and has to serve some of that suspended joyriding prison sentence- the road has obviously more respect than a women's body in this country!!

First off I am delighted he was found guilty and I hope for the best for the woman who courageously spoke up going forward.

I could never understand how people would sing his praises when time and time again he's proven to be a despicable person.

Hopefully this will be the start of everyone realising just how awful he really is

One of 4 women that we know of, some were paid off for their silence some were bullied, young politician that tried to help one of these girls was ran out of the game before she even got started, the few hotels he was using knew well what he was doing because they barred him due to other big clients leaving.

So hopefully he fffks right off now,

It's because the burden of proof needed in a civil case is lower. They thought that there wasn't enough evidence to get a criminal conviction (where the burden of proof needed is higher).

The burden of proof in a civil case is lower than a criminal case. In a civil case it’s on the balance of probabilities but in a criminal case it’s beyond a reasonable doubt.

I suspect the DPP didn’t think they could win a case and that’s why they didn’t proceed

They might revisit the file now given public opinion!

One thing that hasn't really been looked after the verdict.

Did the jury think his scumbag friend was lying about him having sex with Nikita

Did they think it was a lie to help the other scumbag

I doubt they will revisit it as it was so public and McGregors solicitors will probably say since it was tried and the public know all about the case the jury would be bais against their client and he wouldn't get a fair trial.

Yep. This will just sail out to sea now. Won’t bother MCG one iota as the money is like loose change to him. Will it have a knock on effect in other areas? Only time will tell. What’s funny is MCG was always a tool and scumbag to me but the gravy train hype that the whole country got on over him when he was successful in UFC was unreal. All thought he was the Bees Knees.

"Yep. All thought he was the Bees Knees.....no one knew his real character when he started out...you think we're clairvoyant?

How did you know he was a scumbag?are you that stupid? The way he spoke, carried himself, acted etc. you didn’t need to be Einstein. ..try and not make this personal if you don't mind...in case you hadn't noticed, that's how boxer's act..Ali was the first to act like an arrogant prat, there have been many since.

Mabye we're all not as astute as you ,to spot a scumbag from the beginning...congratulations on being the first Big difference between McG and Ali and McG is totally diff to any boxer I have seen. he’s just a complete tool and scumbag, evident since day 1. Apologies on the remark. Didn’t mean it as offence just fairly clear always to me how he was "

...so what's the difference in Ali trash talk and swagger, and mc Gregor in the early days...?

im to young 2 remember Ali but I watch a nice bit of current boxing and nobody acts similar to mc Gregor. All you would have to do is listen/watch him for 30 minutes to know he’s a scumbag. Maybe I’m just good at picking up on things.

One for punching a pensioner in a pub, the rest mainly for driving offences or attacking busses with chairs.

Various assault allegations but none leading to conviction.....yet, other than the recent civil case.

It seems to me, people base their belief about guilty or innocent based on public persona, glimpses of private life, likeability or otherwise of an individual. Let's see how the process works out. Innocent until proven guilty is the best way forward. It doesn't matter how likeable (yes there are masses who love him, much to my personal bewilderment) or odious he may seem.

I personally see no good outcome.

Either he is as described a rapist, or the allegations are false.

The vast majority of us are in no position to know.

It would be nice to think Musgrave's are taking a moral stance but I've no doubt they are just getting ahead of the bad press.

Either way it's a good signal for the public that transgressions like this won't be tolerated. It's a net positive.

He lives and profits of the toxic manosphere so he's not going to get cancelled but every bit of pushback is good.

Hopefully this will.impact him where it hurts most - his brand.

Mind you, you can still commit sexual assault and still prosper- just ask Donald Trump. McGregor will probably have a future in the US as a result.

Previous probation for a 2009 assault. And a settlement out if court in the states.

Either way... someone clearly with track record of abusiveand violent behaviour that until last week was more profitable than the bad PR.

So I still wouldn't be lauding any companies for finally dropping him or his brands now

Will he be introduced as Conner McGregor, previous two weight champion and convicted rapist?

Probably a stupid question, but as it was a civil case does it still mean he's legally called a rapist?

It all went so wrong for him, but some people say they saw it from the start. At the beginning of his UFC career he was funny and focused and lots of people liked him, he lost the plot or showed his true colours when the money started to come in. Im not 100%, but I reckon he's off his head more than not . I know some people here have said they know the family and that they are scumbags, how come you don't hear about it?

I think it's funny they have that gaudy cheap designer clothes, like really loud bright shit on them , it looks like no class but that's just what it looks like .

Bad guy.

I think you did hear his family are also scumbags but the papers loved them even printing full pages about how he paid 1.5 million for her wedding in the Cashel palace hotel

The sister threatening a dog groomer and the conversation was posted online ...The neck of ya was her catchphrase

Didn't she end up as a celebrity on dancing with the stars

Another sister is married to a member of the Kinehan cartel who served a long sentence

He's had a few other cases dropped and large payments made to a few women that made similar claims against him

"I read, unsure if true, but Nikita now has to pay Laurence’s legal bill. If ever the country should organise a go fund me it would be to cover that bill for her.

Yet to be decided..could be no order as to costs in which case she's off the hook..seeing as his costs were paid by mcgregor"

And there have we it ladies and gentlemen

On pulling all his stuff from shelves I read that he has sold all this stuff years ago and basically is not involved anymore

So he has his money already from it and it will make no difference to him unfortunately

I think he sold his majority share back in 2021 I think. He still has shares and is the face of the brand. I think they are distancing themselves from him now

"Think last thread was deleted

But I was amazed about the amount of people that backed him without being part of the jury and hearing all the evidence

Hopefully him and the rest of his scummy family are not treated like royalty anymore by the press in this country

I'd imagine he'll issue a statement appealing the verdict "

It’s such a shame the other thread was deleted, it was so handily for scrolling through and finding the people who still supported him, showing their true colours so we could add them the the crazy blocked list

I hope is gives his other victims the courage to stand up and have their voice. He's becoming a known d up predator and deserves worse than he got. Coward having his goons break into to that poor women's house.
