I know this may be a little controversial but would it not be a good idea to have a time limit for profiles to be verified either by meet/cam or phone? Surely people who have been on for a year or more should be verified by now. A cam costs very little and most laptops or pcs include one. What's everyone else's opinion on this? |

Personally I thought the same no offence to people who are genuine. And don't have every verification going. just it would help out the timewasters etc. |

Not so sure, I've no "verifications" yet, mainly as I have not had the time to really use the site to it's full advantage. Many reasons for that, being ill was one of them, my computer not allowing me to use "chat" another (add in a slight technophobia and that explains that)  I do however support the site (just updated to "gold" again) so would have thought that in itself may have been enough to say I was not a time waster  Interesting to hear what others think though? |

The idea was discussed recently (like most topics it seems), and i think it's a non-starter.
What good is it to start deleting profiles?
And why should I buy a cam if I don't want to?
I have my pic verification uploaded, that and the meet system is enough.
I don't want to be pressured. |

yeah I don't see the point in this either.... someone can be on here over a year and is verified but only a green tick appears... could be an old phone verification.
I've had fantastic meets with non-verified people.
I think common sense and being careful are much more efficient than a green tick. |

Everyone uses this site differently.
Maybe they don't want to meet and just enjoy the chat/forums so they won't get verified as they have no intention of taking it into the real world. That's ok., each to their own. Doesn't make them any less genuine.
We're all here for different reasons

Have a few friends here who don't meet or only meet a chosen few and don't show veris each to their own a coffee first usualy sorts things out

£10 - but not picking at straws, I never said it was to prove I was genuine, just not a time waster - I would assume time wasters won't spend christmas let alone a few quid |

yea i agree,or even if admin makes it a rule tht ppl new joining have to be photo verified by 5 days or there have to leave the site |
