Know yeh ladies get alot of messages and some go unopened, so looking for advice how long to wait to send a second one. messages I see that have been opened and no reply I just take it on the chin and move on. It's just the unopened ones I'm not sure on |

Usually unopened message = don't send another one. It either means not interested or, in some cases, people put back on unread because they want to remember to reply later. Either way no need for a follow up. |

I disagree slightly with the above posts.
Sometimes messages do get lost in the crowd.
If there is a profile you really think you would click with a second message after a couple of days or a week I think is acceptable.
Obviously a 3rd attempt wouldn't be advised |

I have given the odd second message, a month or two later, especially to someone I really fancy, and it has worked in my favour sometimes. But there is a fine line that shouldn't be crossed , it can be cute , pest or stalker , hopefully you can work that out for yourself |

I find it really frustrating, women looking for a decent fwb…but I don’t understand what they are looking for, if they don’t chat then how do they find a good one? It’s strange the choice that women have on this site has what I believe to made them very arrogant and I know that’s gonna get a backlash but how does newbies get there first verification for socials etc if no one is meeting (only at socials ) it actually makes me laugh |

If it's a new profile give a couple of weeks. Usually new profiles are hammered by mails within minutes of joining (well couples and females are) before they figure out filters etcs. If it's an established profile I wouldn't bother sending another mail. |

Most women probably look at the sender's profile before opening the message. If there's any interest then presumably the message gets read. If there's no interest, it won't. |

I should also say that you can be sick of "time wasters" and also not interested in someone who says they aren't. Someone's claim of reliability is not enough in and of itself to make most people want to meet them |

Well in the real world I have no issue chatting to women, getting dates, having lots of fun and I’d like to think I’m not a bad looking fella with decent “feature” but to even begin to interact with a lady on here seems difficult as they have way too much choice I believe anyway… |

If you are finding the site really frustrating then I suggest you stop. It's not worth getting frustrated over.
You don't need to understand what women are looking for. That's up to them to choose to communicate that info to you or not.
Choosing not to chat is an indication that they are not interested. That doesn't make them arrogant.
It's never been easier for newbies to get verified. Events for unverifieds are common.
Just because noone is meeting you doesn't mean noone is meeting. |

It's difficult to know. As you'll have seen already from just a few answers, for some women a second message when they've left your first unread is a total no-no; for others it's less problematic.
I don't think it's something I'd be doing often but perhaps, like has already been said, if it's someone you think is really worth taking the chance with, then give it a whirl and then leave it at that |

Taking it simple:
First text keeps unopened… I send a second one, if it keeps unopened as well, block.
First text unopened and deleted… block.
Then you will clear up the database and can be focus on who really deserves your attention. |

To be fair, those change depending how familiar and comfortable the guy is with fab and how to read through the lines. As familiar as we can be with rejection, it takes time to be confident in ourselves to accept the level of it that happens on fab. Such is life though |

Never ever send a second message when your last still hasn't been opened or you've been left on read, whether it's on Fab, dating apps, or any other messaging apps, it smacks of desperation.
