From my personal experience, utter rubbish.
No proper organisation and no icebreakers. They just set up an event but no-one really overseeing it. May as well just have been drinks at a hotel bar. |

A few years ago it was popular at business networking conferences to have a about 30 minutes of 5 minutes speed business introduction sessions.
On my first two occasions I ended up afterwards spending the whole night 'discussing' our various businesses with rather nice energetic ladies.
Memorable and a good time was had by all.
I still keep in touch with the first lady who now lives in Australia.  |
