It's finished, he has won Pennsylvania according to nbc and fox news, he has a 3% lead which is massive. He controls the senate and maybe the lower house. Could be a clean sweep. |

I do for the most part try and understand where a voter on the other side of the political divide gets their motivation from.
This is one of the harder ones because I find Trump repulsive to be honest.
But there is definitely a huge portion of the American people that are being left behind by the economy and the so called "coastal elites" and I really don't believe that all of that 80m+ demographic are the MAGA heads, so I guess he stands out as something other than the usual political system.
But yeah... I dunno.
Right next up irish election.. at least we have a decent choice of candid....... oh right...

Couple of things
I never looked at his policies so don't know how it effects the multi nationals in Ireland
He now has control of both houses and the supreme court so changes will be made that will effect generations of women
I wish him well as president but he's still a cunt |

I’m not sure he ever set out any, he ran on slogans, catchphrases and rhetoric. At one stage during a debate he was asked directly about his plan health care, just yes or no, you still do not have a plan? “I have concepts of plan” |

In this country it's tradition to vote in the same crooks despite their proven ineptitude and criminal traits. So why shouldn't USA do it on a bigger scale?

A proposed 10% levy on all imports into the US. Hugh effect on Irish pharmaceutical and food exports to the US. It will result directly in job losses here.
Add to that a proposed 4.5% additional tax on company profits by the People Before Profit Solidarity Useless Loony Party if they get a sniff of power after our soon to be called General Election and tens of thousands of well paying jobs will be lost here.
