somewhere

No not what you're thinking of.

Street food .....where's the best place you've ever eaten and what was it

Was it a dirty looking stall in the middle of nowhere that served wonderful food or something so unusual you had to try it

Was it as clean as a hospital operating theatre but bland food

The good stories and the horror stories please

South County Dublin

A burger in the market in Florence cooked just there. Great place to visit.

Now if we could get the iveagh and fruit markets fixed up that would be great

I was in a 3 star hotel in Northern Spain last year that served food that wouldn't have been out of place in a five star restaurant so there were some amazing local dishes.

The tastiest though was in Kinlochleven in Scotland years ago.

No idea how they did it but a plate of spuds and local beef was mind-blowing. No sauce, gravy or veg but I've never tasted anything like it.

Although a steak platter in Granada came a close second.

It’s a toss up between a steak I had in Florida a few years ago (still haven’t had a steak in a restaurant in Ireland since then) or while touring Vietnam we stopped at a roadside stall that was selling pineapples and they were delicious

I recently had some Tea brac from Tesco. It transported me back 60 years to fruit cake my grandmother would have for Sunday tea.

Heaven spread thickly with butter.

A 20oz Fillet Steak at Michael Jordan's Steak Restaurant in Central Station, New York.

Hands down the single most delicious piece of meat I have ever eaten. Sides were incredible and the Cheesecake was the best Baked Cheesecake I've ever had too.

Was absolutely phenomenal.

Well, this one time, in base camp? I had Nutella spread consumed, the best thing ever!

Had Nutella many times before or after it, never tasted that good.

I guess a slice of bread is simply not as good of a base to eat with, as a sexy, hot, horny, naked body of a lady is...

Agree with Castello. I had vegetable soup as first meal after 24 hour delivery hours after baby born. It tasted delicious and must have been from a large catering size dried soup container. Our taste buds often leave us through pregnancy and you only realise it with first meal!

A really nicely cooked steak, pink in the middle, charred to a crisp bark on the outside. Gently placed in a pool of pepper sauce.

A chunk of blue cheese melting on the top.

By a country mile it was the seafood platter in Monks bar Ballyvaughan Co. Clare many many years ago! Washed down with an unbelievably gorgeous pint of Guinness while sat beside a roaring open fire!! I'm actually drooling here remembering it!!!

Somewhere out there

Italy do the best pizza's!!! I got a pizza in a takeaway place in north Olbia, Sardinia, it was the best pizza I've ever eaten, it was stone baked!! The only downfall about the pizza is that they don't put pineapple on pizza's.....
