I understand though most times I just find it childish unless someone is forcefully being a complete pest verging on stalking. Aside from that I just be very straight and honest. Exactly the way I like to be talked to |

If someone blocks us we don't worry about it. We obviously weren't for them so we block them back and move on. We're very handy with the block button though and use it to block people who can't read the profile, annoy us via or if there's something we don't like about what you post (updates etc) |

We love a block button and use it for multi reason. On site to long and not verified, silly updates, or sometimes less then that. He are also blocked by others and we know it's just how it is. Move on and why worry about it |

I've blocked just over 40 different profiles for various reasons including stupid status updates and not being compatible and I don't want them appearing in my local updates.
I've blocked some for inane trolling in the forums and some for asking questions about me to others I've met.
The majority are people I've never even chatted to but every block is valid.
Just as I'm blocked by many many people who post in the forums for whatever reasons they may have. |

Yea we suffered a block last night after a face photo swap request...
Have to be honest it came tough after a shit year but thankfully we've overcome far worse.
We rarely do it and to be honest we don't see us ever doing it again anytime soon.
But yep we block and have been blocked and see it as a way to avoid any future pointless contact

I did a "block amnesty" and cleared my block list as a goodwill gesture last Christmas. It worked well and I didn't have to use the block button again until I recently removed my "no single males" filter for a help a fabber thread and was bombarded with cock shots, dic pics and graphic pictures of gentleman's genitalia. All are now safely consigned to my block list which will be cleaned out once again at the end of the year.
I know I am on a few people's block lists for disagreeing with them on forum threads or because they don't get my sense of humour. Entirely their decision and I fully respect it.
Not sure I respect those who have blocked me because they were encouraged to do so by others. I prefer to engage with people with some backbone....unless of course they are a contortionist.

I've had disagreements with people here and neither of us have blocked each other.
I've also had a regular poster referencing something on my profile on numerous threads initially to make it out that we were friends and then admitting publicly that he had been asking around about me.
I've no idea why he was so interested but blocking him removed some of his options.
It's not always about disagreements either.
There are lots of profiles I've clicked on both here and in the lounge and found that I'm blocked so I've just counterblocked and that's the end of it as far as I'm concerned.
I've never spoken to any of them. |

Well...if they act like tits on forums for example...or other platforms..or keep sending annoying stuff if you ask them not to.easiest way for all is just to block.

I do often look at someone's profile if I've a difference of opinion on the forum, or if I think there might have been a misunderstanding, sometimes the persons bio can give context to a post.

The message you'll see is as below. It's not the "user has hidden their profile" message. Now the below text could also mean that you've blocked them but they haven't blocked you. It could also mean that Admins have blocked you from each other if you reported that profile or if they reported you:

This can be one of three things: User's account is suspended by admin, user has blocked you or you have blocked user. |

I used to use the block button quite often before. Now I rarely bother. But there has always been a reason I have blocked someone on here. Sometimes I just think they are a cockwomble sometimes they have thought I was and blocked me so I just counter block.
I don't see it as a big deal. It's an easy way to not have to interact with people you don't want to at any stage. Everyone isn't going to get on with everyone else and anyone who claims they do,well they are talking shite. |

The answer to your conundrum is that some people click on other people's profiles for various reasons. They might want to have a perv or just be curious or nosey. That's when they might discover they have been blocked. It's not hard to understand
Most people couldn't care less. As evidenced by the majority of the posts in the thread.
It's just a part of fab and a non issue.
For my part, most of the people I block are trolls or people who just go out of their way to be generally disagreeable. It matters not to be in the slightest if they ever figure out or not. |

I don't have a huge issue with it, but I do wish that people I blocked or who blocked me didn't turn up in my searches. It's such a waste of time trawling through people I have no interest in and vice versa. |

My block list is long 😂.
Blank couple profiles mainly. Few female profiles,
1 blank couple profile txt once a month for about 4 months, simply asking
"what size is your erection"
Didn't even bother to introduce themselves.

I always find it funny whenever you have been randomly blocked my someone you have never met or messaged before lol but i guess that's the wonderful world of fab politics i guess and in my opinion this whole lifestyle is just a little bit of escapism from real life and if you do find yourself blocking or getting blocked don't sweat it and just roll with it  |

Sometimes if someone comes across badly in forum posts I'll block them and put a note on their profile. Especially if they show any racism, mysogeny, trans or queer phobia, too 'MAGA' type or Incel, or they've given me a hard time in a thread. So yes people do get blocked with out any messages or interaction. |

I block very few. Mainly just guys who won't take no for an answer if I have politely declined to meet or chat and continue to message. I will ignore a lot of things that I don't like rather than block. |

We wouldn't block for that. We just little notes about it in the private notes section for when they attempt to contact us so we know to ignore them. |

Seems some people will block you for posting something on your status update that drives them straight to the "B" button.
I would have thought as long as it's not a name & shame message or in some other way against site rules it is your status update on your profile so what are they bothered enough to block you. Its probably a good thing that they have removed themselves from your fab life.
I will have to be more careful about putting my inner most thoughts and random musings out there in case I offend some people's sensibilities.

I’ve got exactly two people on my block list, both from before I filtered single men. One earned a block for messaging me with “Hey” about 5 times over the course of a week. The other for repeatedly sending me messages inviting me to come over and fuck his ass, pics of said ass included.
I often wonder what these numbskulls are like in real life. It boggles the mind. |

I actually looked at 3 profiles previously, just because I wanted to perve on their pictures. ( yes I am a bit of a pervert  )
Only to be blocked, but I've never interacted with them previously, plus they were miles away from me.

Sometimes I look at a profile, notice something that I don't like or that I have a characteristic/quality they don't like and I block them , it's easier than sending them messages. Unfortunately sometimes you go into hot pictures and get dumbstruck and start sending cock pictures left right and centre.... 😂 ... Joking about the cock pics |
