Gonna use this as an invitation to talk about how I like to be touched down below, as it’s been a long time and I miss it.
Firstly, what people without penises need to know about them is that the distribution of nerve endings and the mechanical characteristics of the tissue are not homogeneous, or to say that again in much more plain terms, the penis has different regions and these respond differently to stimulation. Furthermore, no two are alike, so what might be good for one person may be very underwhelming or even overstimulating for another.
For instance, my penis can enjoy a lot of compression and friction at the base of the shaft, and much less of both towards the tip. What’s ideal for me then is for my partner to vary the intensity of their grip as they stroke me to match with these features. Keeping the amount of grip constant while stroking doesn’t do a lot for me, because it will alternate uncomfortably between being too tight and too loose.
Another factor to consider is rhythm. It’s a well known faux pas for a man to blindly pound away during sex with a woman, but same holds true for a handjob: jerking it too vigorously gets boring for me and in some cases might be painful if I’m not aroused enough to withstand it. However, being too slow and delicate is also problematic, unless it’s supplemented with other things such as dirty talk or additional stimulation. The ideal for me is to vary the rhythm throughout, gradually building up the intensity in a series of waves in tandem with my level of arousal. The closer I am to the edge the more “punishment” I’ll be able to take (and in fact will want).
Then, as others have commented, there are the balls and the perineum: including these is very welcome, but there’s also the frenulum which for me is very sensitive. I love when it’s brushed against delicately by a finger or a tongue. I imagine it’s what a woman feels when their clítoris is teased.
Lastly and most importantly, enthusiasm. We know that your wrist won’t be as adept and endurant as our own and it might feel like a chore, but if you can get yourself excited about the pleasure you’re giving us that adds a whole lot to the experience.
