"You can use your Google account to reset your password....great...how does that work?"
I won't list out the steps here, I've pointed you in the right direction, so use your phone to log in, find your device, and go through the steps or else do a hard reset. |

Is your Tablet linked to your email account? My laptop is if my password/biometric doesn't work.
"Write them down in future "
Unless you've a super hiding spot, not a great idea from an I.T. perspective.
Old theory, £rWi26(um0!3PLd1 would say this best. More modern theory would suggest Wood@3Fore7*Skin. Easier to remember with short words. Same character length. Just a suggestion(I taught computers for a few years). |

Use a program on your pc like keekeeper or keepass(I think that's the name).
One master password to get in and then click to get the password for the app, website you want it for.
Not helpful right now but for the future. |

"Not helpful to the op in this instance but a lot of people swear password manager "
From what I heard or read (probably in computer active magazine), it was sold to another company who have had dodgy security reviews in the past and push unneeded third party software.
The old versions though always had top marks though! |
