When you write to someone as the first... in return you don't get any answer, the answer was not nice, someone made a complete fool of themselves (for various reasons, lost message, bad day, problems) you create a private negative note... my question is, do you give this person a second chance and try to establish contact with them again or you don't? |

Once I have a negative private note on someone I don't even open their messages if they send more. I always check someone's profile before I open a message.
If it was someone I was chatting for a while and they were rude for whatever reason I would ask them why first of all.If they were still a gobshite then I would just ignore them from then on. I may give them a second chance if they had a good enough reason but it would definitely tarnish my image of them. If someone can lash out to someone they are just getting to know on here then chances are they would continue to do so later on.
Yes we all have crappy days etc but I don't believe that gives us free rein to be a twat to others.
Some times when we screw up we just have to live with the consequences after even if we wish we could change things. |

On the extremely rare occasion I write a private note about anyone that's the last time I'll be speaking to them.
We all make mistakes but some people live and die by the sword.
They create drama or stir shit and then 🤷 when it comes back to bite them and pull out the victim card.
I don't keep private notes generally but when I do there's no going back. |

If the issue was a language barrier, or a translation mistake, I would give them the benefit.
Anything else, where as I would have given a second chance previously, it's gone to one strike and you're out. |
