Another viewpoint from a different thread.

Do you sent friend requests..why and when

Do you except friend requests .....why or why not

Some people might not realise that if you leave a friend request unanswered then the person can't send another one

Myself .....find it very hard to send friend requests being honest

Very rarely send them and even more rarely accept them especially cheeky ones from profiles that haven't even as much as said hello first!

A nice rock

If I've started chatting to someone and we are getting on and I want to see their friends gallery I'll send one.

What do you find hard about it Bog?

I sometimes think that the person who I'd like to send the request to will just think I want to see their friends photos

The ones they keep for people that they might want to have sex with

I know I'm probably a bit strange to even be on here sometimes

We probably accept more than we send (which isn't too many). Happy enough to accept from people we have met or know or would like to meet!

I don't accept any from people I've never spoken to and I've never sent one to anyone I haven't been chatting to for weeks at least.

I used to get them all the time from various women competing on hotpics as they were trying to keep their numbers up.

I'd never spoken to any of them and never even heard of half of them before they sent the requests but I refused them all and when I discovered they couldn't send another if I didn't delete that's what I've done ever since.

I honestly can't remember the last time I sent a friends request and I very rarely accept any and only if we have chatted a while.

Like Bog said earlier, I sometimes wonder why I am here.

I would send a friend request if the conversation was moving towards a meet and to show that I was serious about meeting them.

Tbh, it was naiveté on my part to do that before meeting and not something I'll be doing in future.

I was talking to someone far more knowledge on this and someone I trust on it so I'll be following their advice.

I'll send one if the chat is going good or if we've met and are likely to meet again

I find it handy to have those status updates at the top of my feed and sure I might also see more bewbs and that's nice too

If a friend request is pending, the sender can't send any other one? To anyone? If that's the case we might have to reject a few we have pending. We thought it was safe to hold on to them until we get to meet and decide, and less aggressive than rejecting outright.

They can send requests to others. Just can't send you another one

Never accept if I haven’t met you anymore. Too many fake profiles and nosey people lol.

Ah right, so it's safe to just keep them pending then. Thanks.

Unless you use your friends only pics/vid options, then I really don’t understand what benefit it has. All my pics are public so I accept all friends requests coz I can’t think of a reason not to 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have never sent a random friend request out before and only do sent a request when:

1. Been chatting to someone for a decent period of time

2. We have discussed it first.

I'll never accept a random unsolicited friend request, no matter how stunning or amazing the profile might seem.

It can result in very limited amount of friends on a friends list, but I'm OK with that 😎

I don't send friend request unless chatting and I'm asked to add them,

Can count on 1 hand my friend list now,

People I've met and or a met is very near,

I've had more on it but conversations have fizzled out or if conversations take 4/5 working days to get a 6 word reply, they got the delete button , I'm sure no big loss for them or me, it's no biggy

I wouldn't normally except friend requests unless I have met the person, or have a meet organised but I did break that rule a month or so ago when a well verified female sent a request and she has some amazing pics and videos so I accepted the request. Hopefully we can sort out a meet in the near future

Somewhere in Co. Down

I only send or accept friends requests from people I've been chatting to. To be honest I don't even look at friends requests most of the time and I just let them sit there.

Of course the friends gallery is a huge reason to befriend but it's not the only one.

If you hit the updates button it give "Friends updates" first. For us adding friends is a handy way of keeping up with what our Fab mates are up to .

Would the hotlist not do the same thing as that, give you updates from those on your list? (Just asking in case I'm missing something obvious)

Only accept them from people I've met and are talking with and plan to meet again. Have maybe only sent one or two. Might have accepted the odd one or 2 if I've been chatting foe a while but when it's clear no meet is on the cards I'll unfriend

Can't understand how a complete randomer would think someone would accept a friend request without any precious interactions. Baffles me, and I'm not easily baffled (that may or may not be entirely true.. ).

I really don't mind accepting a friend request, atleast that why I can decide who sees my face pics rather than out to anyone on fab,it's probably just me 🤷‍♂️🥰

Is it in the hope that if they send 20 friends request one out of the twenty might press accept by accident instead of deleting.

Rarely will send a friend invite. Think we have sent two since we came back and those were to people we previously had met.

Do we accept them? Yes but again only from people we know and have met and will likely meet again. If it's a random invite we block them for one reason. It show they haven't read our profile and in that case we aren't interested 😎

Far far away

I never really send a friend request usually the other way. I also regularly purge if l haven't been in contact for a while.

Never accept unsolicited ones.

My pics are woefully boring anyway. Better off going to hot pics.

We add people as friends they fall into two categories, we've met them and want to meet again, and we'd like to meet them.

We travel to different clubs and use fab like a swingers Facebook. Adding people means we can keep up to date with friends all over the country.

We only remove them if they haven't been online for months, or they haven't been user verified within a year.
