My house is full of them. The cobwebs are building up but I love them. I just saw HUGE one run across the floor, at first I thought it was a mouse. I firmly believe they are our friends and do t like killing them. Anyone agree or disagree?

I wish I could be onboard with you because I recognise that a world without spiders is a world I would not like to experience, but those 8 legged bastards freak the hell out of me, no two ways about it.

Can't kill them. I catch them and put them out the window if I don't like their location. Others can stay where they are.

I coexist peacefully with the spiders in my house.

I occasionally have to kill one when a family member loses their shit and needs closure.

I've absolutely no issue with them, but others in the house do so I'm regularly called on to take them for a walk outside 🤪

Can't stand them but hate to kill them. A friend of mine makes citronella essence and if you put a drop or two in room corners, between floorboards, at the opening of windows, at the front or back door, it will deter them. They can detect it from ages away and won't come near. It also stops dogs peeing on those things that have been dabbed with citronella like your garden pillar.

I haven't had a single spider all year. Jinxed myself now though.

In the winter time I always get a big spider appearing at night creeping out from under the sofa usually. Doesn’t bother me but I usually take a video of myself trying to touch it and chase it along the floor to send to my arachnophobia type friends haha

Tis the season alright!

I can't kill them either, I'll pick them up and throw them outside. For the absolute monsters tho, hubby had to step up

Having been bitten by a spider in Australia which left a swelling the size of a golf ball only arm, I now kill first and ask questions after.

Getting bitten by a venomous one before you kill it is certainly bad luck.

Thankyou.. so many people call them poisonous.. not realising that if something bites you and you die, it’s venomous.. if you eat it and you die? It’s poisonous and so many don’t know the difference 🙈

Also to all that take the spider outside the house…

You realise they know how to get back in, right? You literally have to bring them aways away.. like another estate away.. otherwise they are like Lassie and will come back home.. lol.

I usually put the ones that are bold (leave their corner and start bothering me) into a container, drive to the other side of town and release them but since I’ve got cats, anything that reaches the ground ends up dead.. 🙈🤣

Absolutely, I hate flies so I leave them to breed and not throw 1 outside were he'd be raging at getting the whole way to the female only to be snatched at the end of the marathon and put back to the start 🤬👌

One huge spider sauntered along the living room floor last weekend as if he owned the place 😂

I was actually quite impressed by him, if he does it again this weekend a rent book will land on him 👌

Naas which is South West of Dublin

Mine are all busily working away on my Halloween decorations as the moment, and as a thank you I’m going to allow most of them to stay around after as a reward.

They don’t bother me and I don’t bother them, if they do they’ll be relocated.

I picked one up with my hand recently for someone and they nearly puked…….🤢

My rates for spider removal are very competitive ladies, just sayin…….🤷‍♂️😬

Maybe it’s my Spider-Man underpants that’s scaring all the ladies away………🤔🤦‍♂️🥺

The ones living here are harmless....there's rules..no smoking in bed,no racket after 10 in the night, don't scare the guests and I leave them alone

No point in putting them outside...they prob have keys to get back in

I have no problem with them. Except about 5 years go, I got bit by a false widow. Nasty bite. Went septic, the bruise was about 3 cms in diametre, hurt bad. Was off work for a month.

For me the worst creatures that can exist are the shellless slimy snails in my garden, and long, winding and slippery worms, of which there are always plenty after a shiver, even on sidewalks

Relocate to outside to keep the peace in the house. They don't bother me but my daughter does until I remove them.
