**I repeat this is only a fictional scenario and this hasn't happened**
7am Tuesday morning - Fab swingers website becomes unreachable for the next 24 hours
10am Wednesday - Website is back up apologising for the outage and that they are investigating
6am Thursday morning, there is a story in a number of tabloid newspapers suggesting an unknown group have hacked a website called Fab swingers and have managed to take a substantial amount of data from the servers.
6pm Thursday- an updated report on the RTE news, indicates that the hackers are due to release all profile, photo, video and message records of every profile to an open website by mightnight on Friday
10am Friday - a number of high profile political and celebrities resign without further disclosure of reasons why.
Lunchtime Friday- all your colleagues, family members and neighbours are chatting about this hack that is going live on Friday. It seems like there is national curiosity about who would be on a swingers website.
Friday, midnight - website goes life............

Is there anything when reading the above scenario that you would change now about how you use FAB in the event something like this occured? Or maybe you wouldn't? Discuss

I don't think so 🤷♀️
I'm inconsequential in the big scheme of things and just one profile in a sea of others. I don't believe there's a reason anyone would go looking for me specifically in that sea of data, or be determined enough to trawl through it. |

I'm an open book in every possible way and would answer any questions about myself that anyone ever asked me. I'd be 100% fine if Fab was to be top of the news and visited by everyone in Ireland.
It's all me and it's all true.
Nothing to hide from anyone. |

I'd be hanging out to see the famous stars and media personalities that are on fab starting threads complaining how their dick pics were ignored and their "Hey" messages didn't get them a verification meet.
If I deleted Aidan Turner's dick pic I'll be gutted |

🤣😁 maybe look at every future dick pic as a potential Adan Turner dick before you delete 👀🤣
Never look a dick gift horse in the mouth 👀🍆🐴 |

The main thing we're a bit bothered by is that verification photos seem to remain stored in perpetuity? We understand and approve the process, but we assumed that the photo would be deleted eventually. Keeping it stored in the database seems like a recipe for disaster in case of a data breach.
Take that one out and the rest comes with plausible deniability. |
