Beard butter also helps keeping it soft |

"Once my facial hair grows beyond a couple of mm it's a total embarrassment. State of it. I get RID..."
There's a dude on YouTube "the bearded accountant" who talked about each person having a terminal beard length. An acquaintance must be at around the 30cm mark. No idea how long he's growing his beard. I'm around the 17cm mark after 3 years. An ongoing experiment. ![](/icons/s/twisted.gif) |

That's an interesting theory, wonder if brushing would encourage straightening giving more length? I don't brush much, so beard is a little 'wild' ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

I've gotten enough offers of meets conditional on my shaving my beard that it's obviously a kink for some people.
If you you decide to shave yours, see whether you can find a few such women before you do. |

Mine is wild. Mostly have beard rings in it. Same with my mane. A few here can testify to it.
But definitely grooming needed. Beard oil the odd time. Conditioner too helps. |

I'd rather be celibate. That's not a level of control I'm handing over. |

It's kink-jitsu. You've taken control of the scenario through the feint of surrendering it.
If you find the right ones, you could make a role-play of it.
Meet at a hotel with beard, leave with a smile on your clean-shaven face.
It would be the fulfillment of some lovely lady's lustful longings.
Just messing; I found it to be such a fun kink (or maybe I just have a bad beard!) |

No kink here. Just independence. That's your kink. ![](/icons/s/2/eh.gif) |

Grooming and hair care make a big difference to the health of the hair.
Longer beards make it harder for the natural oil your skin is producing to make it all the way down the hair. So beard oils and brushing and even the natural oils from your hand are all good. Massaging the root's can help stimulate healthy growth too.
I find conditioner makes my beard brittle so I stick to beard oil. And by that I mean generic carrier oils like almond and jojoba. If you have a big beard you'll spend a fortune on fancy oil and the only difference is the scent.
Hair, all hair, but especially beard hair and curly hair, need water more then anything. So wet it every day and brush it to train it down.
Avoid regular towels to dry it because they just suck the moisture back out. Just use an old t-shirt to get the dripping wet off and let it air dry.
This concludes my ted talk
