I have free cinema tickets wondering should I use it on that or wait for something else this month "
Wait for Gladiator 2 , l know a prequel should never have been made , personally l think they're only cashing in on what was an Epic movie in the 1st place .
As regards the Joker 2 a friend at work told me to avoid it at all costs , pure crap , said it's like a Musical..l personally didn't like the Joker as l thought it was too dark , gimme The Dark Knight anytime, my all time favourite Batman movie.📽️🎥🎞️🎬 |

I'm hoping the Joker is somehow revived, and makes a Better Joker part 3.
I don't want to give out the end of the film to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.
Best wait for it to come on TV, then recorded it and fast forward the singing bits.
I think casting Gaga was a BIG mistake. |

I found it insufferable.
I do like most of the songs that were sung in it, but jaysus, I was sitting most of the time saying out loud "just get to the fecking point!"
It was like watching "Adrift" (remember that shit show?), but the musical version instead 😵
Dirk blissfully fell asleep half way through it...

Ill wait until I can steam it and maybe watch it then. I watched the new crow film the other day, not really a remake, more inspired by the original, but I enjoyed it all the same. Good popcorn film, nothing fancy, but I liked the dark atmosphere of it. And yes have watched the original. |

When I first heard Gaga was being cast I thought “oh no”, and “I wouldn’t be surprised it’s somehow twisted into a musical or singing of some kind because of her”…
Boom, I was right!
Wasn’t a fan of the Joker movie so I’ll def be missing this one 🃏🤡 |

We went to see it last night and it was amazing. Not a musical at all. Both characters sing their dialogue as its their delusional way of communicating to each other in their own world. Don't couples in general have their own way of communicating differently from the rest of the world? That's what makes it special, and makes this dynamic work. Gaga doesn't sing in tune for a lot of it which reinforces it. Musicals are based on music to tell, or deliver a story, in tune. This movie shows their delusional world separate to the reality around them. In musicals, everybody sings, not in this case, only them.
Movie is a great segway to Heath Ledgers portrayal. The ending is key to that.   |
