Question for all of yous that live alone. Do you cook a meal for yourself daily. Personally my breakfast is cereal, sometimes eggs on brown bread. I’m the evenings I get home late and it’s normally a sandwich, pasta or noodle dish. When I say a noodle dish I don’t mean a pot noodle

I cook daily. I prefer my own cooking to takeaway food but have the occasional Chinese.

Due to food allergies I cook everything from scratch, just took out the slow cooker for winter, a stew or soup will last for days and it’s tastier that the processed crap.

"Whiskey "

To be fair whiskey goes with everything and is low in calories! 😅

I’m a OMAD man, big into meal prep at the weekends so it makes it easier during the week then. No breakfast just coffee.

There's no way you can look that good just eating pot noodles.

The old slow cooker is the job, throw in meat and veg or whatever you have and it's ready when you get home.

Or a couple of days a week I make a big meal and portion it out and freeze it. So all I have to do is nuke it in the old microwave.

Most ready meals and proceeded food are full of all sorts of additives and loaded with salt and or sugar.

Depends on factors like weather, how early the start is. If I'm rushing out the door it's fruit and a nut bar.

My generic day. It's coffee, and toast scrambled eggs and a brioche.

Lunch is some bland pasta or fruit mix

And dinner is beef/chicken stir fry.

Thought it would be more exciting as a kid haha.

I cook twice a day, if at home. Porridge or eggs for breakfast, salad and hot lunch (fish, pasta, meat stew). Something light for dinner.

Mid Meath

Prefer to cook myself. Plenty of steamed veg and most meat is either grilled or air fried or dry fried. Few white carbs at main meal, not into pasta or rice as a rule. Winter will be a lot of slow stews; they’re good for 2-3 days and big on taste too. Once a week I’ll do a Sunday Roast type meal.

Breakfast is porridge and fruit weekdays and maybe bacon and egg at the weekend. And lots of tea.
