Think its a great idea

Anything that cuts down on the deaths on our roads is to be welcomed

Fuckin mobile phones while driving are a curse

Stop at a set of lights now a day's and theres always one in the queue that doesnt pull away on green cause theyre on the phone

Because it's going to be easy to pick it out from all the rest of the white Scania artics on the road 🙄

It's a great idea. So many people died last year. Anything that increases road safety is a good things.

Damn no more blowjobs when I'm driving so 😔

On another note great idea. The amount of accidents that happen that could have been easily avoided by people not being ejites is shocking.

Or maybe ignore the Scania, put away the phone and concentrate on the road

North Galway

About time they crackdown on all the dangerous drivers also the penalty points could be doubled people like that shud be on a bike for 6months. Driving needs full concentration.

Everyone will be afraid to pass out the green trailers too

Malahide

It will be one of the few tractor units you'll see not pulling a trailer. Also the way the guards are run it will be either off the road for a mechanical issue or they'll have nobody to drive it. The reason it's being shouted about is to make people think they'll be caught, actual chances of it are slim

Why anyone would feel the need to use a mobile phone while driving is beyond me.

Driving while reading and texting on mobiles is now epidemic.

Then you see goons holding while talking on their mobile in the newest of cars with bluetooth... mind just boggles...

Every morning I get into the car for a day's work I fear the worst now.

Heard on radio yesterday that they've already caught people eating breakfast and watching Netflix (other tv streaming services available) while driving in the 1st few days

I wonder if you can get done for driving with boobs out now or not 🤔

Sure do it in an Applegreen carpark and it's private property*

* this might not be correct legal advice

Im all for it but also the penalties need to be harsher!

I was on the road the other day and a taxi driver passed me, eyes down, typing a message! Its extremely common now seeing this

Is there a test for stupidity and day dreaming. People sauntering along in the over taking lanes with a big tail back behind them oblivious to the obstruction they are causing. Or change lanes at the last minute to turn off and causing everyone else to jam on their brakes and most likely they sail on oblivious to the carnage they have just caused behind them.

I was in the M7 a few weeks ago in the way home when we saw a jeep and cow box do a u turn on the north bound lane and drive back down the motorway cause he missed his exit. Why? Cause he was on his phone the whole time
