Did you buy smash hits or just posters in Easons or record shops
I had Blondie and the iconic poster of Farrah Fawcett Majors in her Red swimsuit |

"I bought Smash hits.
Aha then Bross big time.
My boyfriend bought me a massive framed picture from Athena of the hot guy holding the baby. It was all the rage back then....the picture, not babies!"
I remember the picture and the girls putting bottle caps all over their shoes |

Carebears was probably the first. 🤣
As a teen I loved old movie posters so I had A rebel without a cause and Attack of the 50ft woman decorating the walls. I had a love of vintage black and white photos so I'd loads of those.
My favourite was a poster of James Dean with his head peaking out of his jumper and one of Jim Morrison. My parents allowed me to write on the inside of my door, it was filled with lyrics and poetry. I'd die a thousand deaths if I thought anyone had read any of it. I loved my room 😊 |

"Had a huge poster for the Betty Blue movie (which I've never seen)
Also had an anti war poster which was interesting as I also loved war history, movies, had toy soldiers etc"
The Betty poster is iconic. The film though was a little disturbed 😆 |

Black and white poster of Wendy James , topless covering her boobs but just a little bit of side/under boob visible, back then it was more than enough to get my imagination going, gotten from Athena. Now to get the sand effect it's leather clad dwarfs riding giant pythons in pools of jelly with dreadlocked tgirls and anime cartoon characters..... 😂 |

Did you ever get a picture with their trophies
Wait a minute

Wasn't really someone for posters not heartthrob as did when a child had a thing for blondie and Kate Bush, but in my young teens did have cypress hill, ice-t, bodycount and ice cube plus NWA posters as used to enjoy that music until I grew up and got more into metal and hard rock especially matallica and Rammstein |

Over a few weeks i collected loads of pop magazines and one weekend my parents were away so i tore out every poster i could find and covered every wall in my room, when my parents came home and seen it thinking they'd be impressed my dad lost his shit and made me take every one of them down i took lumps out of the paint with the blu tack and he'd to re- decorate the whole room after 🙈 |

Showing my age here but David Cassidy from the Partridge Family. Long hair by a horse. Just loved him.
Finally got to see him in concert. Paid a lot of money in London - he was on stage a very short time! Very disappointing but still had a crush on him from teenage years. |

"Andy Townsend in his Villa jersey. Still would
Big hair was all the rage back then!
You couldn't beat the old FHM for a good poster.
Suranne Jones, my particular favourite!"
In her Corrie era, I bet |

She's still a total ride in fact she's got better with age ( or is it I'm aging too ) |

Waterford City |
The biggest poster was of a Lancia Integrale rally car split down the middle showing the mechanical insides on one half and the bodywork on the other.
As I got older the likes of New Kids on the Block and then old school ravers were added. Lol |

Doro Pesch of Warlock was the only female poster i remember. Quite a few of Bon Scott & Angus Young, Deep Purple, the classic Iron Maidens, Metallica and a few Ferrari ones. Oh and that dark black panther sneaking towards you one was great |
