I love tattoos and have always wanted one. So I'd like to know if you have one in a place you regretted? What's the most painful place? I appreciate that it is not licked on by kittens but I'm a big chicken! And any other advice welcome. |

Love all my tattoos. Each is personal and has a special meaning to me.
The most.painful.was the enso on my chest. To recreate the effect of brushstroke, my guy had to do lots of tiny fine lines, layered on top of each other. Painful.
The rest were all fine. |

I have 5 tattoos and non of them really hurt after the first few minutes. Once the adrenaline kicks in they can feel euhoric. I have one on my spine and another on my ribs, supposedly very painful spots - not at all.
Also have a big one down my left shoulder and it only began to hurt when he started to do the white definition lines - so it was line on line work which is sore.
Advice - pick something that means something to you personally. Investige styles and find artists whose work you have seen and like.
Eat well and hydrate - take some glucose type sweets with you as it's possible to get dizzy.
Take after care from your artist only as they won't stand over your tattoo issues if you haven't followed their particular advice.
Don't be tempted to pick scabs. |

Think about what and where seriously before you get it.
I have a friend that has one that is terrible and now he needs to get it covered and I am in the process of getting one drawn up for him. He will love it. |

I have 3 and love them. Want more
Took my time pocking them as they are personal.
Check out dublin body paint they do temporary tattoos which are great to give you a taste of what it's like to have one there. The one on my profile is a temp one |

I've over 10 ranging from full Japanese back piece including shoulders, tights, half sleeve ,but the absolute worse was my instep. And they're probably the smallest tattoos I have.. now I've a high pain threshold .. |

I have a few very large tattoos and I'm usually booked in for a new one when finishing my last one but I did get a foot tattoo and it took me 7 years to get another one after that
My first 2 tattoo's I have gotten cover ups done on them, just because the quality of work on them was shite. Don't really regret any tbh because at the time of getting them they obviously mean something to me during that time in my life. |

The last one I got I barely felt it, tattoo artists have a numbing gel now that they can apply to your skin and you'll hardly feel it.
My most painful one was one I got on my leg many years ago when a friend was practicing, I cramped up and it was incredibly painful.
As a previous person said, it becomes enjoyable, the body releases endorphins to the area and after a while you kind of enjoy it, especially if the tattooist is sexy , and lots of them are, the really sexy ones know you're enjoying it too. |

Male half here. I've a few that lasted quite a while.
Two of them taking on average 9hrs straight each day over a weekend so a Fri, sat & sunday sitting lasting 9hrs each day. Done that twice lol... 24-27hrs straight.
Most painful bit was the back of my knee, 3 days repeatedly touching up. Skin split and opened up so yeah tough spot after countless hours.
In general though. I can and do sit for days literally and I'm absolutely fine. Lucozade sport & sweets fix your wagon. |
