Must have been one of the best summers in memory for silage? No heavy rain, just lots of showers. Temperatures were perfect for growth too.

I'm not a farmer but was with a friend today who keeps livestock and she was jealously eyeing up her neighbour's silage bales. His bales were well tight in fairness |
