Are you a fan? I find it a quick cereal type part of breakfast or need something on the go. So many varieties also.

Add a bit of biscoff spread and it’s a game changer!

Never had, I like proper breakfast like full Irish, an omelet, apple pancakes, French toast with bacon or berries

Porridge is like, bland horse-food slop I had to eat as kid when we couldn't afford nice cereal like everyone else. There's no way you could convince me that if you take 8 hours to soak it and add berrys, magically you could eat it cold and its super awesome... or so i thought.

.

But my mind was flipped in the last year!!! Add a drop of vanilla and some summer fruits, and you have a big tasty creamy batch of goodness that you can have for breakfast, take to work, or have a few bites as a healthy snack or dessert if you're peckish.

Over night oats is the healthiest tastiest dessert you could imagine.

I don't regularly eat breakfast.

But when I do it's usually something small like a croissant or a toasted bagel with butter and jam.I live on coffee till lunch time.

I work outdoors and need a packed lunch. I don't do sandwiches. I hate the way bread clings to the roof of your mouth. So overnight oats is my go to and keeps me going all day and it's like having pudding for lunch! What's not to love! I have mine with frozen fruit. At the moment it's pineapple chunks. 🍍

Also a few mini marshmallows

Do you put it through the blender, or how do you get the peanut butter evenly spread through it? It sounds delish

Just put your peanut butter in the microwave for about 23/30 seconds and it will pour over !!

It's so easy, just chuck whatever you have in at night. It's my go to most mornings tbh.

There's also a bunch of things you can do with weetabix and protein yogurt that are quite nice.

Funny coincidence, I've been meaning to make some for the last few days but keep forgetting to do it. It's one of my favourite breakfast options, especially if I need something that keeps me going for hours.

I also switched from regular oats to pinhead oats a while back and can't wait to try them in overnight oats

Natural yougurt

Splash honey

1/4 of a banana mashed

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon .

Mix well. Airtight container. Top with whatever you like or eat as it is. Thank me later

If there is ever a time where we only have porridge to survive on, I'll be gone in a week.

Even the title of this thread makes me get sick a little in my mouth 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Cold ,stoggy, mauve, beige, drivel, it's like funless food. It has been adopted by people looking for something to sustain them , rather than something to enjoy. Just eat the bacon sandwich and do some exercise.

It isn't as "healthy" as you think.

Please explain to me how this is healthy, and I beg you to use how other foods are not healthy in the explanation. People are so used to eating unenjoyable, beige food thinking it's good for them.

Avocado for example.

I havnt time to type a huge reply to you. Organic oats have many health benefits as do chia seeds. Natural yougurt is full of proteins. Check online for the 12 health benefits of avocado. I had an older relative with the doctor recently and I’ll quote what they said to them. “In Ireland we are turning more like Americans every single day”. You take from that what you want but I know exactly what they ment . Very easy eat food that tastes good and has health benefits. I wouldn’t eat anything that’s good for you but tastes wrotten

Organic food has no nutritional difference than non-organic/traditional food (oats).

Protein in yoghurt..... Eat an egg.

12 blah de blahs in an avocado, why not eat an orange?
