Question?
If you have stealth mode on, why is that?
If you have stealth mode off same question?
I wonder how many people use it...
Just curious?
Wondering whether to turn it off and see what happens 🤣

Sometimes I use it so I can catch up on messages without appearing online. I have had a few send 30 messages in the space of 20 mins because I am in conversation with someone else and they are throwing a hissy fit because I didn't get around to replying to their original message. |

"There's a stealth mode?
My thoughts exactly 🤣
You can set your account to not appear in the “who looked at me” section if you check out another’s profile "
Oh stealth mode to me is hiding my profile but going online lol I never have looked at me on - but I also rarley look at who has looked at me - it's a wasted feature in my book. Would rather other things be available. |

Go into your account settings and scroll down to privacy settings. The first option is hide on who looked at me. Click this and hey presto ninja mode |

But I thought you still appear as online, but not appear on someone's who looked at me list? Maybe I'm wrong...I assumed it you are online you are online? |

"I use Ninja mode to admire all the lovely ladies so they don't block me
Isn't that what its for
Do people block you for just looking at them? That's mental "
I remember once viewing a woman's page from the UK. Didn't interact with her or anything - no message/wink etc, just clicked back out of it. Next minute she blocks me but not before sending me some of the most unhinged vile abuse 😆 |

I have stealth mode permanently turned on for the same reasons I have my who's near turned off.
It means a much quieter fab experience just as I currently want it to be.
On that note though I'm not convinced that stealth mode works or that there is a glitch in the system.
I have looked at completely random profiles across the forums in recent months on threads I haven't contributed to and within minutes of viewing them they have looked at my profile.
It has happened too often for it to be a coincidence. I could understand if I had commented to them on a thread but that wasn't the case so it may not be so stealthy after all. |

"I have stealth mode on as I'm sure I'd come across the biggest stalker ever. Sure I probably end up viewing profiles several times and not remember!! 😂"
Yeah same. We'd look really keen. And not be at all |

Exact same for me...a random account that said something on a thread so I looked at them
Few hours later they look at me

I didn’t know the stealth mode existed.
At the moment I don’t see a reason to use it, if I’m looking at a profile is because I want to know something more about her/him/them or she/he wrote something that interests me in the forum and I don’t see the needs to hide that. |

Yep, same here. I've had to check a couple times that I'm still hiding because it seems like a huge coincidence that profiles look at me when I've been hiding. |

I use the don't show on who's looked at me because I'd be exposed as the stalkiest stalker otherwise 🫣
Didn't really know there was an option to not show up online.
Think both have their uses as filters and also sometimes I just forget if I've looked at a profile before😜

Hide who's looked at me would be stealth.
If you choose to hide your profile, then only people who have you on their holistic or friends can see your online but not view your profile but can still message you.
Stealth mode is good as some people think if you look at their profile you're interested. I've had guys look at mine several times a day when I hadn't it on then they'd message saying someone's keen. When I'm actually just looking at whi viewed me. |

"I'm always in stealth mode as i look at someone multiple times before I can decide if I'm really interested in them and to most ppl that would look stalky. "
I do that to to decide if I'll start a conversation.
I never assume that someone is interested because they looked at our profile. People look at profiles for lots of reasons so I don't know why lots of single guys assume it's because you want them 🙄 |

Goldfish memory, not unlike me. I have to check a profile loads of times to remember anything 🤣 |

Absolutely love stealth mode....aka Ninja mode have always used it
Totally handy as you can check a profile out to see if you are interested and if you aren't they will never know!
If you aren't in Ninja mode and check someone out you can be bombarded with messages.
I know some people do not use it as they like to let people know they interested...

I don't use ninja mode but for me it's very simple, I look at who looked at me, if I see they won't meet smokers, I move on and don't message them, if they meet smokers I move on and don't message them🤣🤣 I rarely send a message🤣 |

I don’t use stealth mode. I didn’t discover it for a while and by then I had become used to trading views with people, so I left the setting alone. The way I see it, if someone is bothered by me viewing their profile, not being in stealth mode gives them the opportunity to chose to hide it by blocking me, which seems fairer.
Also, I figure that many of the profiles I peek at (profiles on the hot photos page and cam rooms) are heavily flooded with views, in which case my view would be drowned out. I base this inference on the amount of views I used to get from men on here - my profile doesn’t particularly stand out and I used to get plenty of attention from men before I changed some settings to block messages from them.
It seems from the earlier replies that stealth mode is quite important for couples and women to use though, since some people interpret a view as interest and become unpleasant when they discover otherwise. So, while stealth mode isn’t for me, I can certainly see the case for it. |
