Recognising a genuine new profile from a phisher

Something I seem to fall foul of, more often than not, is taking people at their word.
What do people think? Just avoid unverified or new profiles? Or do you give someone without a verification a chance? |

I do meet unverified people if we've chatted and they seem genuine. Most have been.
I avoid people who are recently joined as often they seem to be joining for hookups while on holiday and I'm not into that. |

A few things that help but aren't guarantees.
Photo verification.
Does the profile have an actual personality coming through the profile bio/pics.
New profiles that immediately put uo attention grabbing status updates are a red flag.
I usually don't interact with profiles that have been here less than 2 weeks |

If it’s a female profile that’s new and posts a status saying she is looking to meet that night, that’s a red flag for me. New female profiles will get tonnes of emails, with or without photos, so to post a status looking for someone just screams fake to me. Also if the status is super graphic or crude, I tend to think it’s a guy writing it, not that women can’t be graphic or crude, but generally they aren’t |

Agree with this, also check out the pictures to see if the quality (and even the body!) appear consistent. |

Lewd status updates from new women's accounts with no capital letters or punctuation just scream that they are written by a man jerking off.
Also porn star photos ripped from the internet. Dead giveaway 🤣 |

We learned to avoid newbies after a while for the simple reason that many are likely to just flake out (especially couples where one partner is less keen than the other about swinging). Filtering out unverified and non site supporters makes life a lot simpler here. |

Lots of good signs to watch for posted already but one of my Red Flags is a new quickly verified profile with no Verifications displayed and no Verification summery displayed either.
Another one is new unverified profiles but they have 5 or 6 Fab Friends on Day 1 ....or a 'couples' profile which is on Fab "more than a year" ...but has a load of friends but none of those have bothered to verify them? [I know if a person leaves Fab their verifications of other members disappear]
I use the 'Private Notes' function on profiles to note any dodgy digns but I suppose the moral of the story is, be careful online.  |

Go with your gut. Majority of women will be careful about their safety
Check veris if any sometimes the veri will be given by a very similar profile with no pics etc.
Again photos to good to ve true, be realistic about who's chatting to you. Genuinely I find if the guy is extremely photogenic they are fake, use a reverse image app to check.
If asking for pics or videos straight off be careful what you send.

I never turn down chatting to someone,even if their profile is blank. But if we talk for a while and a meet is in discussions and no pics have been exchanged then I take it as a red flag, could be a Mick waiting for me to arrive instead of Michelle 🤣🤣 good thing I always ask for a social first 🤣 |

That just says that they won't have much interest in meeting, if a person has 1 veri from a coffee meet and 3 from camchats , I think the coffee one overpowers the other as you get to meet the person f2f and you get a better gauge out of them |

That just says that they won't have much interest in meeting, if a person has 1 veri from a coffee meet and 3 from camchats , I think the coffee one overpowers the other as you get to meet the person f2f and you get a better gauge out of them"

Yes, that's me in a nutshell; no interest in 'meets', in the general Fab sense of the word but I still enjoy Fab and chatting with the many very genuine but very naughty folk on here.
