How do you manage your breaks from fabs ?

Are you a sudden departer? Do you tell everyone beforehand ? Do you announce it on the forum ? Do you say you’re leaving forever then come back ? How sure are you before you take a break how long it will be ?
So many questions …
Also , if you’re missing the presence of someone from fab , no harm in saying it here . |

Generally delete my profile quietly and return after a few months or years; I think this is my third or fourth reiteration. There are a couple of fab friends that have long since departed either through losing interest in the site or perhaps relationships. It certainly isn’t the site it used to be a decade ago! |

Surely this is one of the reasons why taking a break can be useful. There are all sorts of external factors that might mean Fab is not right for someone right now. Taking a break is surely better than soldiering on and becoming more disenfranchised and miserable. The option to return is always there if and when the conditions are right. |

I left fab for a year... didn't say it to anyone till much after through group chats. Knew I would come back again and happy I did ☺️ I will prob take many breaks when I feel it becomes static. We all use fab for different reasons and in different ways so to each their own xx |
