I would like to hear peoples opinion on whether you have no problem telling friends and family that your a member of a swinging site or... first rule of fabswingers you do not talk about fabswingers.
Personally I dont talk about the site but if I was asked then I would say yes Im a member. I do feel there is an overall negative feeling about swinging in the general public even though its common place in europe, nearly the same as going the pub.
Im sure this topic has come up before so apologies for maybe going over old ground but if anyone would like to give their opinion on this then fire away.

Nothing causes arguments, controversy, misinterpretation and judgement like bringing up politics, religion or swinging with family or work colleagues etc
I wouldn't bother mentioning it myself, I like to keep my private life private, but I've no problem being seen in public with fabbers etc for coffee
Some people don't give a shite one way or another and that's great too! |

I don't see it as a guilty pleasure, it's just an extension of me that needs to be explored and pushed more.
I don't discuss those things, or who I do it with, within the community or outside of it either. |

I'm on lots of sites websites that never come up on conversation. My sex life isn't something I generally discuss with people I'm not having sex with, I'm not hiding or guilty I just keep it private.
I cant comment on the comparison of swinging here and in Europe as I'm not a swinger, but I do find the general stereotype of Europeans being more open minded sexually to be false. Well in the last decade or so anyway. There were understandable hangups here in older generations because of our social history.
Anyone I've interacted with here and in real life my age and younger are all pretty enlightened in comparison to any other nationality |

It seems to me that Fab is the new Tinder, and Fet is the new Fab.
I probably wouldn't respond if someone started asking me about Fab, why would they want to know? Just change the subject. I don't ask other people about their sex life, not sure why they would want to know about mine. Weird. |

There's no real reason for it to come up but if I was having a conversation about dating apps for example I would include fab and I just describe it as an app to meet people where nobody pretends they are dating. Nobody I know bats an eyelid
I'm not a swinger so that doesn't come up. |

I think it's worth mentioning that you can be discreet about other people and keep their private information completely secret, while at the same time being open about being a swinger and/or practicing ethical non monogamy. |

Personally like many above it's not a subject I'd bring up but wouldn't deny if asked. I've no shame about it. I'd gladly share as much as my wife is comfortable with sharing but wouldn't discuss any specific details. Play partners privacy and preferences are just as important as our own |
