No problem
In my opinion it’s worth trying out those that peek your interest, you never know what will work for you until you try it out. It was Reiki that worked for mer and I still have a few that I still want to try out |

I've recently started doing some yoga and have slowing taking up jogging (still have a long way to go with that). But it has helped me to feel better. Getting a better nights sleep now and feeling more calm.

"Acupuncture definitely helped me recover from facial paralysis years ago.
Reflexology was relaxing at the time but didn't feel any long term benefits.
I haven't tried anything else. "
That's amazing! |

Like Sean, said above its worth trying different things to see what works for you. Unfortunately there is no quick one solution. Takes time and patience to find what works for each person. |

Try a few different things, not all work for everyone, reflexology is a great treatment but it focuses more on the physical body.
A lot of treatments can vary with the practitioner.
Good luck on your spiritual journey |

I did psychotherapy with very little benefit, you really need to find the right person because it’s a lot about trust. What helps me is a very close friend. We know each other for almost 25 years and we never lived in the same country, so we rarely meet, we talk a lot by phone, messages, long emails. He is the person that knows everything about me. I tell him everything and he tells me everything about himself.
When we meet we have hours of very deep conversations.
And found the courage to talk to yourself.
Go deep down, peel the onion layers, found the things that you put in the deep corner of yourself. |

"Booked in for Reiki.. Thanks for all the responses "
Brilliant, I hope you enjoy it.
Kundalini is amazing if there's a practitioner near you. I also enjoy Yin Yoga and soundbaths, playing with different frequencies and vibrations.
Meditation has proven to be a huge benefit for me. Guided meditations are a good place to start, one to one, in class or online. Whatever feels comfortable for you.
Getting out and about in nature has huge benefits mentally and physically. Go to the woods, beach, park, garden or wherever you find peace.
It's starting something, however small. It's all about taking that first step. Good luck. 🪷 |

A good walk or a hike is great for clearing the head and burning some energy.
I use an app called alltrails.
Gives great ideas for walks or hikes around the country, and can filter by location and difficulty.

As a holistic massage therapist (I treat the physical body but also the spiritual and emotional wellbeing), I would say it really depends on what the issues are that you want to address.
Also, it really is about finding the right alternative therapy and the right practitioner for you, as one may work for one person but not another. In this instance, it really is about the alignment of energy.
I have been suffering with hormonal migraines on a monthly basis for the last few years and have tried all sorts to find a way to alleviate those. I have found acupuncture carried out by a Traditional Chinese Medicine therapist in conjunction with a few treatments from an Emmett technique therapist has left me 4 months migraine free!!!
My TCM practitioner has also been able to help with other minor medical issues naturally rather than visiting my GP.
Breath work, meditation and yoga are very therapeutic. I am starting to work more of that into my lifestyle, as well as more barefoot walking, grounding myself with nature. These are things anyone can do without a big financial outlay (I have discovered the Nike training app, which has all sorts of free workouts, including yoga).
With respect to alternative therapies expect to feel a little worse, emotionally and physically initially, before you feel better. And the worse your emotional or physical wellbeing, the more heightened the response as you heal.
Personally, my favourite therapies for moving energy as well as the physical aspect, are a Hawaiian massage called Lomi Lomi and Thai Yoga massage.

Being around large pools of water such as lakes or the sea is very good for our mental health. Anything sea based is good, as is walking and talking.
If your brain is navigating streets and cars and other people and still talking about something unconnected to the actual walk, this is very healthy. A simple exercise that we can all do. |

I have started to jog again, great to clear the head. A walk on the beach is great too.
For muscle related stuff I use acupressure, studied some books years ago and taught myself. Great for breaking down muscle knots. Go and get yourself an Indian head massage or a deep tissue massage.
Look after yourself.
