So is anyone feeling very conflicted about season 2? It's definitely not terrible but I think the first 5 seasons of GOT spoiled us for quality, but still, it feels all over the place in terms of story telling.
What's everyone's thoughts on HOT D so far? |

I like it. I was a big book fan and was completely put off the whole universe after the last season of the tv show, but have slowly come back around with House of the Dragon.
It’s certainly not as good as the first 5 GOT seasons but still a lot better than most tv shows out there and has got me back into a place where I might even read the books again soon. Also looking forward to A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms whenever that’s released |

I feel like the Daemon arc had so much potential to look into Daemons mindset and psyche, I think it was just handled horribly, maybe if they made it into one long trip rather than little pieces throughout 3 episodes it would have been better. |

If you have audible listen to the audiobook for a Knight of the Seven kingdoms, Harry Lloyd (Viserys from season 1 of GOT) narrates it and does a fantastic job. |

I've only listened to the first two, Fire and Blood and Knight of the 7 kingdoms and enjoyed them, but there are some things that the books do better for sure |

I thought it was a strong ending to the series, tied in all the sub plots that had a lot of people confused, now to wait another 2 years for season 3 |

At times it was pretty bad I won't lie, lots of plot holes and pointless events but I feel like it got stronger as it progressed |

Omg I can't keep up with all the different families and whose fighting who.Season 2 is definitely not as good so far and I'm just staying with it as I'm a huge GOT fan.I better stay off line for this week's episode as I haven't watched it yet lol

From the book they still have a lot to cover, I think season 3 will be far better, will be more battles for sure and the dance hasnt even kicked off to its midway point, exciting times |
