So many good ones already mentioned..

For me (Mr), there's something so weirdly nostalgic about watching the terrible "truck horror" TV film, Maximum Overdrive with Emilio Estevez

Wow it's so bad.. yet so good 😄

Also.. The Shining 👍👍

Can't choose I'm afraid as I feckin love Stephen King books, having read about 90% of them.

Agreed Salems Lot scared the bejaysus out of me as a kid.

The good news is there's a lot more adaptations coming in the next year or two.

One I haven't heard about unfortunately is a Rose Madder adaptation. Excellent book in a kind of Sleeping with the Enemy vein and one I always recommend to women who have never read King.

Would love a better film of The Dark Half as I think it's his most vicious book.

Latest You Like it Darker book not bad, with some potential movies in it.

The man is a genius though, isn't he?

A...

I watched "Under the Dome" when it first started thought it was good but then towards the end it started to get weird. Then I read the book totally different.

I've heard that it is being remade and is staying closer to the book this time. Will I watch it I dont know jury is out at the moment.

I've read the whole series. Brilliant right up to the point where King decided to have a dig at his critics by writing himself into the storyline. That along with his rant in the book ruined the entire storyline for me. I would never read it again. The film version with Idris Elba and Matthew McConnaughy was rubbish.

Babylon

Many years ago as a 16 year old pretending to be 24 I was seeing a 24 year old French au Pair from lyon. She had a free house for the weekend so i went to stay, one night we watched Misery, afterwards we had some light bondage sex, anyway, she leaves the room with me tied to the bed , I'm laying there thinking, "no one knows where I am, I don't really know this woman that well, and had just watched Misery" !!!!!!... I started biting at the restraints on my wrists and then she came into the room with her hands behind her back , I kept saying "whats behind your back?" , she half straddles me and pulls her hands from behind her back and whacks me in the chest with a load of ice cubes, ... Fuck me it was awesome, scared the shit out of me and then fucked the brains out of me , it was the beginning of her corruption of 16 year old me.

I miss her , and think about her often.

11-22-63 didn't get film adaptation the book deserved! The series just wasn't as good!! Then again Stephen king wrote his best books when he was flat out on Peruvian marching powder ❄️ he's openly admitted to not remembering writing some of his best books he was that strung
