Galway

Actuality, what we are getting has sadly become the very definition of an "Irish summer"

Fantastic day yesterday absolute scorcher

Dropped son to work at 4.30am this morning thinking it would be more of the same

Wake up now to walk the dogs and its lashing rain

Looking forward to my holidays in PDI in October

Afraid so, thank you climate change. Still it's probably better than roasting to death

Athlone

Suiting me down to the ground if I'm to be totally honest. Can't handle the heat at all. A little less rain though and it would be perfect!

West Dublin

Wish I could do a bit of gardening. Other than that, I don't care too much. Just makes our two weeks away more special really.

I think that the constant rain/drizzle.. general grey skies, not knowing whether to wear a coat or a tee shirt particularly during the long days of summer would get to anyone...

Hence the need for some distractions!
