Belfast

Depends what you get for it.

Tickets to our events are more expensive than other local organizers, but all who ever attended our events understand why and never question it as they see first hand what they're paying for.

That said our tickets are still around 30% cheaper than any other vanilla event or a show because we don't do it for a profit.

Paying €50 for a casino event per person I'd expect a real casino tho and not monopoly money with roulettes from temu with a real life show and snacks.

Not too bad actually taking into consideration venue cost etc. Doesn't seem to be price gouging. Would on par to what we paid for socials a few years ago.

All fairly normal. It's a lot, but it's fairly normal. There are usually other cheaper accommodation options with a bit of creativity

These kind of themed nights were more common some years back and I really enjoyed them as an alternative to the usual social

If it was a night hosted by an organiser that I know puts in the effort to make it worth €50 then maybe.

If it was an organiser I don’t know or I know half arses things, then no.

The average social is not worth more than €10 imo so it would want to have had a lot of effort put in.

There was a great themed night out west 2 years ago

During the night a casino started with various casino games played and it was brilliant

Can't remember how much it cost but worth every euro

50 quid is high but if it's a proper casino set up, I'd pay it. Most I've paid for a fsb s9cial has been 25, the hotels etc as I'm single I've paid up on 170 euro for a night in a hotel.

Hotel prices are out of control across the board.

"€10 or €15 admission to social dance better value ya can have plenty ladies on the dance floor."

You wouldn't hire a venue with a dancefloor for that money, so wouldnt be a private event

We would be far more likely to attend something focused around an event or activity than one where everyone pitches up to a bar and gets loaded. 50 euros would be fine for a properly run event, would sort our own accommodation anyway

"Socials are getting to expensive these days most charge 50 or more for couple then the hotels are ridiculous"

Hotels are out of the control of the organisers if all hotels are equally expensive

Is 25 quid a head for 4 or 5 hours per person too expensive I don't think so

Was at a social on sunday afternoon with food and a great party atmosphere for 25 a head

It started at 2pm and was still going after midnight

The hotel cost from €120 a room

Alicante Spain, and Cork City Ireland

Not every week, but that seems like a decent price for Ireland. It would be around the same here in Spain.

Except the hotels are cheaper.

I’ve been wondering this…are people assuming €50 per couple or €50 per person?

If it’s €50 per person, let’s assume €100 per couple, is it still regarded as good value?

You still have to sign the divorce papers it was such a great night though. I remember a burlesque one in cork too, that was brilliant, and then all the fancy dress Halloween ones were always brilliant

I estimated €50 per person: professional casino, compare, naughty games/prizes and followed by a Dj. About 6 hours entertainment.

Are you banned from every social because you seem to be very angry about them going by your green arrow
