Far far away

Now that it's kinda summer..48 hours and counting.

What's the smell of summer for you.

1. Strawberry sauce on a 99.

2. Sweetpea and roses

3. Sea and salt water

4. Fake tan

What's yours..

Alicante Spain, and Cork City Ireland

Depends where I am.

Nowadays it's midnight swimming on the med. A fresh, cool breeze, over the stale sweat after intense sun.

Back in Ireland it's fresh cut grass and the morning dew.

You only cut your grass in the summer? Sea smells better in winter actually, less rotting sea, live right beside it! Always have always will.

Freshly cut silage is the one for me I think.

City Centre

The smell of chlorine on your skin and hair from pools on summer holidays.

The smell from the bag of sandwiches that my mam made. Eating them on the beach with a few sprinkles of sand for added flavour.

The smell of a bbq. Invites are welcome, I do love a good bbq

My favourite beer garden, those hoppy beers, Rosé wines, fruity cocktails, and the food being enjoyed hits differently outside in the sun with friends.

The Body shops White Musk and Dewberry oil, brings me back to my misspent youth.

Freshly cut grass

The smell of the sea or sea lol

This is an odd one… the smell of fresh tar getting laid in the road on a hot summers day. The smell and sight of the steam coming from it.

Rotten sea, lobster pots on the pier basking in the sun exuding the stench of bait, boat paint..

Then the opposite

Privet flowers, the smell of escalonia, sweet oily heritage roses, calendula, night scented stock, chamomile, sweet peas, raspberries.. endless summer

And the smell of the sun off your clothes on the washing line after a day of sun...
