"What’s the best part to go to? We are hoping to go first time this week."
I've been down a couple of times in the past week and hope to go again around lunchtime today (Wednesday).
Most people seem to park at the junction beside the entry to the dunes area and make their way over to the beach from there; then string out along the beach either side with a few, mostly single males, taking up residence in the tall grass to the left.
If you're there and I recognise you, would you like me to make myself known to you? |

...further to my message immediately above, I can't now get down today, but do send a message if you'd be interested in co-ordinating a visit (usually difficult, I know!). |

I do like to frequent the beach from time to time, it's lovely down there but sadly don't get there often enough. Would be great if we could create a chat group of people that head there regularly! |

"It was an empty beach on Wednesday. But we got naked anyway… and a bit naughty. Too cold to stay long. ....well done true sexy adventurers
Next time hopefully it will be a busy beach and lots of sun! Fingers crossed"

"Is there other naturist beaches or campsites in Ireland? Planning a motorbike camping trip and love to get out of the leathers!"
Hi, I'm a biker and naturist too and empathise with your thinking!
Have a look at the https://irishnaturism.org/map/ page for details of naturist locations.
However, naturism is only becoming more acceptable here so do not be surprised if you find few, if any, other naturists on many of the beaches (partly due to the shortage of many long sunny days, lol!). Good bets that I know well are Sallymount and White Rock.
I can't speak of any naturist campsites, but do have a look at the events page on the naturists' site - you'll note many meet-ups and some residential events should they fit into your calendar.
Enjoy your trip. |

"The 2 of us might go there tomorrow if the weather is half decent
You've ruined it now...put out the child of prague "
As it happens you're right.
Yuk day today and after getting soaked in all the wrong ways at the Pride March in cc yesterday, going to be sensible today |

Great thanks for the tips and advice! I'll have a look and see where the road takes me |

"To everyone on here and given the interest... perhaps we could stay in touch through this thread to see if we could get a group outing going on some nice warm day in the future?" Great idea .... I was also thinking about a dawn swim ...

Mention was made of the solo males. Most are fine and behave themselves but a few can be a nurse cancelled and can be intimidating to women.
The day of camera phone and the www. A warning and even a pretence at filming is usually enough. Failing that enlisting the help of a couple of the largest muscle bound solo males to proffer more old fashioned methods and the the reward of a smiling thank you brings all to order. |

I go fairly often.
Most times I have it almost completely to myself.
I go to swim FKK and if there are a few pervs watching me, we'll...
The further north you go the more single male it is .
..Google Maps will tell you if it's 'busier than normal', but that could mean only 6 or 8 other people. Often when I go for a winter dip I am the only person there and it is beautiful. The dunes are magical with a herd of semi-wild horses. If you are going for a swim, be prepared to be swept off your feet by the waves if you are not careful. There is a shelf into deep water where the waves are breaking. Strong north south currents along the beach depending on tides.
The southern end can be reached from a separate entrance down a track from a small car park - then you have to walk about 5 mins to where you can bare all.
Beware the area is increasingly visited by civilians, esp families, so be prepared to cover up quickly. Dry robe recommended.
Send us a DM if you fancy a late afternoon dip after work! Or a weekend visit. |
