So summer is here (apparently) what's your favourite ice-cream, topping, flake, sauce. Looking at the queue into a new ice cream parlour in Dundalk they must have the world's best!

As plain I love a 99 cone and lime sauce, as a cup, I love kinder Bueno and white chocolate sprinkles

There's a lovely cafe on the beach at Clogherhead

A walk on the beach eating a 99 with lime sauce and good company is one of my favourite things

I have tasted the double salted caramel magnum mention one the last thread and that was a revelation. The other one that stood out was the blue tangle twister but I’ve not seen it in the show yet…

I like all types of ice cream but it doesn't like me because I'm lactose intolerant.

I usually end up with a sorbet but options are limited.

I had a coconut milk based chocolate ice cream in Morellis in Portstewart at the weekend that was excellent.

If they add ice cream to it too but normally the machines broke = we can't be bothered

Alicante Spain, and Cork City Ireland

I'm not a big on ice-cream.

However, I miss 99's.

Spain is too hot during the summer for them. And during the summer is when you want an ice-cream as you wander outside.

I am a bit spoilt when it comes to ice cream as I grew up with two Italian ice cream parlours in town.

So many flavours! My favourite always was a scoop of plain yoghurt and a second one of strawberry yoghurt ice cream.

And have you had dark chocolate ice cream... It's freaking divine!

Is there such a thing as a bad ice cream cause it’s never crossed my lips. I’m fond of a brunch or tangle twister though and anytime I’m passing J14 I’d always stop and get a tub of ginos gelato. Strawberry and cream, pistachio or rum and raisin would be particular favourites. Also their vanilla milkshakes are delish

Cinema going was a much more involved pass time. I love the old cinemas, many of them were beautiful buildings.

Those are actually single-serve tubs.. so no restraint needed

(that's what I choose to believe anyway. )

Mr

Ahh man that's them! Won't lie they were the business. Jesus the amount of snogging done in those things, we used to rock up to the cinema, jeans and lumber jack shirts on, hands in the pockets like Fonzie and try and get a girl! Was so easy back then. Hadn't a clue what the film was about half the time.
