Indoors, few lack of sunlight means that the buildings don't get warmed up.
Outdoors, well, while yesterday was miserable in the morning, the afternoon got up to 17° in Dublin.
This morning is a bit cooler at 14° so far but it's fine tbh. It'll be showery for the next few days by the look of it. |

I've considered it at home especially at night but have held off, opting for an Oodie instead. Definitely in work I've had the heating going full pelt. I usually wear shorts in work from May through to September but I've been forced back into long trousers on quite a few days
I really want to pack my winter wardrobe away and get the summer clothes out but, nope, definitely not at that stage yet. |

Have lit the fire any evening I've been sitting down for a while. My living room is North East facing and gets very little solar heat gain anyway. But even the kitchen which is south facing isn't warm enough to sit around doing nothing |

"Came back from the isle of man last night and the house was freezing, put the heating on for the first time since April
What's the craic with this global warming shite "
In fairness now, it hasn't been called global warming since scientists started understanding it.
Climate change is what we call it. |

And unsettled summers with (even) less sunshine and more rain plus milder winters with little frost is exactly what was predicted to be the result for Ireland |

Yep, and it's only going one way.
Mind you, the sceptics will point to a frosty winter every now and again and say it's all nonsense but the trends are there to be seen. |

Had the heating on a few nights for an hour or so.
Although I do have my own hotwater bottle, ie me.
Got soaked the other day while our for a run. The sun was shining when I left the house.
Where is this global warming or climate change? I'm fed up with the rain |
