My (miss) quit date is next Monday, I'm looking forward to saying I'm a non smoker. I have bought the patches and I'm ready to go. A friend of mine used the e cigarette and got palpations, but I do know lots that used them who got no side effects. Best of luck  |

You need to break the smoking habit as well as the nicotine addiction
After a 20/40 a day habit of 30 years I quit on Champix. Within four days of starting them I was longing for my quit date and I never got one single craving
Been smoke free for 5 years now |

Was a 30 a day guy my way of quitting was to slowly cut down the nicotine intake by switching to lighter cigarettes silk cut purple then blue n I eventually kicked the habit patches help but they can be addictive also it was hard but I'm cigarette free now 12 yrs |

I used the intelli cig for a few weeks and they really did help. I was using it a good bit the first few weeks it was good in that it allowed me to change my behaviour I could use it in the office and in the pub so wasn't havin to go out and smoke. Eventually I found I wasn't even using the e cig and was off them about 6 weeks.
Unforetunately I had a set back and couldnt find the e cig and a mate handed me a pack during a moment of weakness started smoking again.
Just found it again so setting a new stop date.
Champix wrecked my head bad dreams and then insomnia. |

I (DM) got the e cig Ziggy cig on Friday and since Sunday I haven't had a smoke, I had tried everything before this and failed I'm looking forward to the day I won't need the e cig |

they must be gud if u have no cravings,i bought one but it left a horrible nicotein after taste so only use it if i run out of fags lol |

thats way my first fluid was so changed and got the flavoured stuff lemons nice now gonna try strawberry and tutti frutti lol ill try them all if it keeps me off the cigs |

Erm side effects - I find that as I can use it anywhere I can accidentally honk on it all day and make myself feel quite sick !!!
I'm properly addicted to the e cig now - cant even bare to let it out of my sight lol , but hey , at least it's cheaper !

i personally been using them over a year, best thing ever. although i have spent quite a bit on various models nothing in comparison to buying cigs or cigars. dont use the tobacco flavours though after a while you wonder how you ever thought it was a pleasant taste! |
