So running along the theme of fav shows, how about ones you watched as a child!

I do think TV shows today are a fry cry from what some of us had gowing up. I'll not say mine just yet. Ive sent a snap for Mr too, he can reply on his t-break or lunch instead of his walk.

Dinosaurs or something I think it was called.

And don’t forget the “we say so” corporation that controlled everything.

Hmmm maybe it was not such a work of fiction after all

I lived in basic television land

The bionic man or 6 million dollar man or whatever it was called.

McGuiver

Tomorrow’s world

The Angelus (not sure of that spelling) and god help you if you changed the channel once it started. The trick was to switch to the other channel at 5 mins to 6 o’clock

Glenroe of course, biddy and Miley and the “is there anything stirring” a kind of weird question from one’s father, basically asking have you been pumping multiple cream pies into your missus to get her pregnant.

Bosco because no choice of anything else.

Sesame Street

Nah, it's not a new thing. When the original cartoon first started showing in Ireland/UK in like 1990, they created a different theme song for it that said Hero Turtles.

And Michelangelo started using a grappling hook instead of nunchakus.

I hated it

They changed it to “Hero” from “Ninja” as there was a whole thing back then about being concerned that it would incite kids to violence.

Stupid, but hey.
