Let's say you met someone socially on fab and they came across as creepy or rude or maybe even dangerous. Do you still give them a verification? I haven't met anyone off here yet but would like to know what would ye do? |

Absolutely no way would I verify them. If they were dangerous then I'd report them here. |

I think the polite thing I would do is to block them and hope to never see them again and be glad that I’d arranged to meet them in public. I certainly wouldn’t be leaving a verification for someone that I thought was dangerous.
Focus on the positives and when you meet someone, leave a verification about how you found the person, were they the age and sex on the profile, if you had a good time with them, if you were able to feel relaxed with them. |

This is really helpful thank you. |

If I just got a bad vibe from them, then no I wouldn't verify, but also there is nothing to report, other than a bad creepy vibe.
If I thought they were rude, I also wouldn't verify.
If they did something wrong, broke forum rules or harassed anyone or behaved aggressively, I ld possibly report them.
I met someone recently that was actively rude, and you ld really wonder what motivates people to be rude, it's odd, but at least I know now to avoid that particular person. |

Same here.
If I simply didn't like them that would be different and I would verify them |

No need to verify someone you don't like.
Honestly you could get lost in verification politics if you let it suck you in.
All a verification means is that the person turned up, was who they said were and were nice enough on the day that someone was willing to take the time to type up the veri.
After that you can go wild and write sonnets or soft porn if you like. |

See, so long as I'd no Spidey sense bad vibes, I would. Just because I don't like someone, doesn't mean someone else won't. If they were otherwise pleasant, made an effort, turned up on time etc then I'd verify them to say that. Of course no-one is obliged to leave a verification regardless |

Not a notion!
Verifications are v important to guide us and we wouldn't bother writing something about someone if they were rude, having said that we've been very lucky with our journey so far!
Haven't had any bad experiences!! |

"How exactly would you be able to verify someone when you have met nobody yet?
He does say that in his post ....he's asking advice in case it does happen when he's actually verified
Might, sure rolls eyes 50 times "
So can you see out the top of your head when you do that |

Sounds like a painful amount of eye rolling |

"If you have a meet that goes bad or the person is not what they seem, why not give an honest & bad verification, they should be transparent. "
Because no one would ever see it. They wouldn't display it. |

I generally verify people I meet weather that's negative or positive. Weather they display it or not is up to them. Luckily though I've only wrote a few negative ones. If a guy I'm chatting to has only a few or none of their verifications displayed, it would indicate to me that the ones he has are negative. Possibly not always the case though. Everyone approaches it their own way I guess. |
