It's that time of year AGAIN.
With the start of the BIGGEST exams in a young person's life begins. That's the way it used to be anyway's. Hopefully that's changing as time goes by.
So for the people that have young people doing the famous Leaving Cert, go easy on them, support them & it'll all be fine.
Now Where's that REALLY good weather that we get this time of the year. |

First Two were very stressed over it which lead to major arguments in the house to be honest
Third one we tried to avoid all the problems we had and let him go at his own pace
He had all the hassle with state exams and classes during Covid anyway so we haven't had one argument
He studies in his room or doesn't...its up to him
No stress for anyone and he'll find his own path in life anyway
He starts tomorrow and then 40 of them off to Greece ....think thats what he's thinking more of |

My youngest starting the leaving tomorrow. It was a hard road to get here, at times it seemed impossible but now we are both seeing the finish line. Looking forward to freedom and independence .... in exactly 9 days!!

A2 exams up here.
Whatever will be will be. We've a solid plan B if it comes to needing clearing, and a plan C for backup.
AS didn't quite go as planned for my oldest - we sat down together and worked out some alternatives, so at least he's not panicking about the A2 results when they come. |

I have one doing the leaving cert! All you can do is support them and wish them well. It's not the be all and end all but you cannot say that or be believed. |
