Maybe that's true in Louth but it's not generally the case elsewhere. Posters cost a lot of money and are mostly professionally designed. Authenticity is seen as one of the most important aspects of a poster photo and if the candidate looks too different in reality it will cost them votes and will mean the hundreds they've spent on those posters has been wasted. Obviously most people will present themselves in the best possible light old and photoshopped images are greatly frowned upon. |
