Pretty much as above - if its a shared meet then it's shared expenses  I go away on business sometimes and the firm pays for the room, but they only put me up in single rooms in B&B's so there is usually little chance of any "fun"  |

whatever the split of the hotel costs, its always best to agree who is paying in advance of meeting, you don't want to fall out over an argument over who did and did not pay....even worse if the sex was great. |

I think 50/50 is fair enough and I'd be surprised if anyone had a problem with that. Another problem i have is finding a hotel that does daytime bookings without looking for a credit card. I only know of one in Dublin, but it's a nice one. |

As I dont accommodate, if a guy wanted hotel meet then I would expect him to book it but I would pay my share in cash on arrival
I dont ever want to be stuck paying for a room in a no show situation |

Personally I tend to agree mostly with the 50/50 rule and the cost of the hotel room should be shared.
That said, I do tend to have a slightly different school of thought when it comes to single ladies whom I meet for the first time. Unless the lady prefers otherwise, I would always book and pay for the room. I think it's a lovely gesture if the lady offers to share the cost of the room but I would always decline the kind offer.
Perhaps I'm old fashined too but there is a hint of method in my madness. After declining the offer I would usually crack a joke about her "getting the next one", thus hopefully ensuring an encore.
Dont you just love repeat meets!

When a guy offers to pay it's very nice of them but I never agree..i always have and always will pay my share.

If a guy asks me to meet him then of course he should pick up the hotel bill call it what ever you want.... Never paid a hotel bill even part payment and never will! |

I'm the male half here I can't believe any guy would accept any money of a woman for a hotel meet if it was me I'd cover all the costs from the room to the drinks even if the lady insisted maybe I'm wrong but that's just me  |

Everything concerning hotel meets should be split 50/50, it's a swinging sex site. We are meeting swingers, not prostitutes or escorts so why would the males pay for everything?? Reguardless of who asked who to meet. The other has agreed to meet and therefore it should be split 50/50 in my opinion |

I don't believe it has anything to do with chivalry or a lack thereof. I was once told by a lady friend that she feels less obliged to perform and more of an equal paticipant if she goes halves. Whatever floats your boat, i guess. The natural instinct for men is to pay, but not all women want that, it would seem. |

Nope il explain for you as I really don't think you are getting it through. In my own experience, sex in a car is good to me as it's always been a fantasy to have a lady either inside or over my bonnet of my car. its got absolutely nothing to do with not wanting to pay for a hotel at all, now thats cleared, Quite often what happens when people meet for a night in the so called travel lodges, normally one person pays the £20 and the other buys and brings the drink, I thought by knowing so much as you do, you would also know the finer details.

Personally I think each situation is different but for the 1st meet with a single male I wouldn't expect to pay for the room.
However if it was a case of more than one person or a repeat meet etc I would always insist to go 50/50 unless the person was on business or had the room anyway etc.

It seems chivalry is dying!!
No matter who suggests the meet I always feel its only right to make the lady feel spoilt and desired and that includes paying for the room.
I've always paid for the room and think that's just the right thing to do.
If you gave a lady a lift in your car you wouldn't ask for petrol money!!
Everything about the meet should make the lady feel spoilt and wanted. Treating the lady to the room is the same as taking time to find out what turns her on and seducing her !

And is the woman not there to please your needs aswell?? I would say that NOT ALL women obviously but, some of them wouldn't give a second thought about why you are meeting if you were to pay for everything. At least when they pay half then you know that they want the meet just as much as you do and they are not just getting a freebee meaning a night stay in a hotel with drinks paid for all night. |

A meet is not a transaction or a favour. Its an agreement between consenting adults to get together and have sexual fun. Therefore its not about who pays but about having a great time when all parties are there together. Who suggests the meet or books it shouldn't really matter. If it was a requirement that I pay for the room then I would politely decline. I aint that desperate. This however doesn't mean I wouldn't pay for the room. Don't you just love semantics!!!! |

I have only had one hotel meet the lady booked it but I took her out for dinner and drinks and said next time its on me
But I don't mind paying for a room same as if I am meeting and getting lunch or dinner I pay
